• John F Kennedy, Jr: The only surviving son of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, and younger brother of Caroline Kennedy, John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr., often referred to as JFK Jr. or John-John was a journalist, magazine publisher, and American Lawyer. Kennedy attended Brown University and graduated in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in American studies, and then took a break, traveling to India and spending some time at the University of Delhi, where he met Mother Teresa. Kennedy also acted in several plays while at Brown University. Kennedy and Michael Berman founded George, a glossy, politics-as-lifestyle and fashion monthly, in 1995, with the former Kennedy controlling 50 percent of the shares.
• John Krasinski: An alumnus of Brown University, Krasinski studied English, and graduated in 2001 as a playwright with the honors thesis ‘Contents Under Pressure.’ An American actor and filmmaker, Krasinski was a member of the sketch comedy group Out of Bounds at the Brown University. Krasinski is best known for his role as Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office, where he also served as a producer and occasional director of the series throughout its nine-season run. Educated in theatre arts at Brown University, Krasinski is the recipient of a number of accolades, including two Screen Actors Guild Awards and four Primetime Emmy Award nominations. He has also been named the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018 by Times.
• Emma Watson: An English Actor and model, Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris and brought up in Oxfordshire. In May 2014, Watson graduated from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in English literature and was honored by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in the same year, winning for British Artist of the Year. A UN Women Goodwill ambassador, Watson was instrumental in launching the UN Women campaign HeForShe, which calls for men to advocate gender equality. Watson rose to prominence having featured as Hermione Granger in all eight Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, earning worldwide fame, critical accolades, and around $60 million.
• Bobby Jindal: An American politician who was the 55th Governor of Louisiana, Piyush "Bobby" Jindal graduated from Brown University in 1992 at the age of 20, with honors in two majors, biology and public policy. In 1996, Jindal was appointed a secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and in 1999, at age 28, he was appointed as the youngest president in the history of the University of Louisiana System. In 2001, President George W. Bush appointed Jindal as principal adviser to the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.
• Julie Bowen: She is one of the famous actors who went to Brown University. Popularly known for her role Claire Dunphy in the sitcom Modern Family, Julie Bowen attended Brown University and majored in Italian Renaissance studies. She has received critical acclaim for her role in the Modern Family. Apart from this, she also received nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a comedy series and won awards in 2011 and 2012. The daughter of Italian fashion designer, Donatella Versace, she is popularly known as an Italian-American heiress and socialite. She is the director of Gianni Versace SPA and has worked in New York city as a theatrical dresser. Even though she inherited a great fortune, she still decided to focus on her studies and did not partake participation in the Versace business until she was 24. Personally, she has struggled with Anorexia Nervosa.
• Ted Turner: He is an American entrepreneur, TV producer, philanthropist and media proprietor. He founded the Cable News Network (CNN), the first 24 hours news channel. He attended Brown University and was the Vice-president of the Brown Debating Union and captain of the sailing team. He also founded WTBS, which pioneered the superstation concept in cable television, which later became TBS. Apart from these triumphs, he also created the environmental-themed animated series, Captain Planet and the Planeteers.
