  • Adler University’s Master of Applied Psychology (MOAP) program is an applied, nonclinical degree, designed to prepare socially responsible professionals and leaders with the core competences in applied research, business, and community applications
  • Students learn a variety of skills for leadership, program management and evaluation, and cross-cultural communication, and will be able to apply their knowledge of diverse areas of psychology to work in multiple domains and across settings
  • As part of their studies, students will select one of three 9-credit concentrations:
    Health and Wellness
    Gender and Sexuality
    Human Resource Management
  • The MAP program includes a comprehensive range of coursework and applied experiences that meet or exceed the core competencies for professional organizations related to the field of applied psychology such as the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the International Association for Applied Psychology (IAAP) and the American Management Association (AMA)
  • Program Objectives:-
    1. Analyze principles and theories that impact individuals, systems, and groups within diverse cross-cultural communities
    2. Provide critical analysis of local and global systems within the professional practice of applied psychology
    3. Develop skills to evaluate the efficacy and social impact of programs
    4. Devise evidence-based qualitative and quantitative research strategies that are responsive to diverse system needs within the field of applied psychology
