The university has over 1,400 faculty and staff. 83% of domestic students’ native language was English and 12% of international students had English as their native language. 71% of domestic students were born in Canada. 94% of students were happy with the quality of instruction, 92% were happy with the education gained, 88% agreed that their education helped them develop skills and 21% opted for further education.

The response of 48% of bachelor’s degree students has been taken into consideration out of 1,444 respondents. 64% of the employed Humanities graduates had a job which was related to their pursued courses. More than 60% and below 76% of working graduates from Physical Sciences and Math, Social Sciences and Biological Science & Life Sciences had a job which was related to their programs. 84-85% of working graduates each from Business Management, Visual and Performing Arts and Engineering & Applied Sciences had an employment-related to their area of specialisation and 99% of Health graduates had the same.

KPU Average Salary 2021 by Discipline

The overall median annual salary of graduates at Kwantlen Polytechnic was $54,000. The discipline which yielded the highest salary for the graduates was Health with the amount being $73,322. This was followed by Engineering & Applied Sciences with the average salary amount being $62,000. The disciplines at the bottom two which yielded the lowest salary amount were Biological Sciences & Life Sciences at $42,000 and Humanities at $47,402.
