The university offers various scholarships to international students, which are based on merit, academic scores, and financial background. Some of these scholarships are:

• Presidential International Baccalaureate Scholarships: It is offered to international high school applicants with an average admission score of 95% or above or an IB score of 36+. The scholarship value is CAD 9,000 per year, and it is renewable for four years. Students are required to submit a 750-word essay, a letter of recommendation, and a copy of their resume along with the application form.
• Sobey Innovator Scholarship: It is only offered to Bachelor of Commerce students with a 90% or above admission average or an IB score of 36. The scholarship value is CAD 50,000 for over four years.
• Techsploration Science Award: It is a one-time award of CAD 2,000 per year given to female students pursuing a Science degree at the university. Students are required to have an 80% admission average or 3.0 GPA.
• Saint Mary’s University Scholarship: A one-time award of CAD 24,000 per year is awarded o students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the university. Students must have a 95% admission average to qualify for this scholarship and maintain a 2.0 GPA every year for renewal.

Saint Mary’s University application fee for UG is CAD 50 or INR 3,067.67 and PG is CAD 110 or INR 6,748.87. SMU charges non-refundable application fee for all programs. Your applications will not be processed until the fee is received. The application fee can be paid through Credit card, Debit card, and Wire money transfer.

International students who are accepted by Saint Mary’s University for undergraduate courses with an admission average of 85% or higher are automatically considered for Renewable Entrance Scholarships. To get this scholarship, international students must apply and be admitted to the university by Mar 1. Scholarships may be rewarded even after Mar 1 if funds permit.
