University of Calgary Entry requirements for MS course
Below are the requirements for the University of Calgary MS course:
- Applicants are asked to hold a four-year baccalaureate degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
- India-specific requirements:- 4-year Bachelor's Degree - First Class Division, or 8/10 (or 7.5/10 for IITs only). Students with 3 year Bachelor's Degree must also hold a Master's Degree.
- Two letters of reference dated within twelve months of the application
- A minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 point system over the past two years of full-time study (a minimum of 10 full-course equivalents or 60 units) of the undergraduate degree
- The University of Calgary also provides English waivers for international students check out the below points
- If the institution has multiple languages of instruction, the Graduate Program Director may ask for confirmation of the language of instruction for the degree
- The student has completed a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of 3 years in length), or a Graduate Degree in an institution where the language of instruction and examination is English
- GRE is advised but not compulsory.
- Applicants must submit their English language proficiency tests
