MS in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2019
5
A financial friendly option for every aspirant to fulfill his/her dreams
Tips: Prepare that your ultimate goal in United States is to excel professionally. Keep in my mind that most of you are going to come to States for graduate-level courses, and you will land a better job if the US market is favourable. So the majority of your success is dependent on your city and not your college.
Likes (Quality of faculty): A regular day in college start depending on you courses. At Masters level all your major classes will be scheduled during night time to accommodate all the part-time work that you will have in the morning. College has a good recreational area which is where I spent most of my days apart from academia.
Dislikes (Part time work): Faculty members are pretty much approachable and accessible. Also the teaching and methodology are helpful and guiding. University is pretty diverse in nature and serves as an opportunity to interact with multiple people of different ethnic backgrounds with a welcoming nature.

MS in Biotechnology - Batch of 2022
Offered by University of Nevada, Reno
3.4
Masters at UNR gave me a chance to open a book that I never read in my whole life.
Tips: I have received an opportunity to work with a professor as a graduate student and that gave me the good practical experience I needed while applying to jobs. When you are into Biotech it's all about how practically one can apply theoretical knowledge. I have learned that very well in the lab I was into. Overall, I am satisfied with my course and the country.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at UNR have good knowledge and are willing to share it. Everyone gets a chance to get practical knowledge during lab hours, which is helpful in your career. There are also good career fairs that happen at the university where you can meet people outside of the university and make connections.
Dislikes (Indian Food): As there aren't many residents from India, there aren't many Indian restaurants around. I prefer to cook at home, and even the restaurants we have aren't great with food. If you want to explore food from different cuisines, that would be great.
