History
In 1886, Arizona State University was established as the Territorial Normal School. The first graduate degree was offered in 1937. Then, in 1938, the School of Engineering was created. OPT Details
Post-OPT is a work opportunity to get some off-campus work experience and is required to be attained after the completion of a degree program. F1 students are eligible for 12-month OPT per degree level. Those 12 months can be used while earning the degree (Pre-OPT), after getting the degree (Post-OPT), or a combination of both (Pre-and Post-OPT).
