Student-friendly college with ample learning and internship opportunities.
Tips: Join this college only if you are serious about your career and academics. Attendance is considered to be very serious here so do make sure to attend the classes and do all your submission on time. Also, do not prioritize part-time job over your studies as it can hamper your study time.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): PR opportunities are very high in Canada as they offer 2 years of stay back after completion of year certification. Many corporates and companies willingly offer visa assistance after securing a job which makes it easier to settle and look at PR.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Depending on your area of specialisation and study numerous post-study options would be available. A lot of competition prevails as Centennial College is a popular study option for International students from India and other South-East Asian countries.

My insightful college experience.
Tips: Well, my college is very particular in respect of semester exams and assignment as well. As an Asian citizen, you will surely feel a little cultural shift even though I myself had transitioned a little in the context of academic vibe and surroundings as well. There is a scholarship offered to foreign students here but again it's quite tough. I just completed my education in April 2023 and I am quite satisfied.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Well, the faculty members of my college are very accessible and approachable. They are so helpful and kind. Their teaching methodology is very modern and easy to access. There are so many teachers over here who are always there, and we surely can count on them in case of doubt or query.

The college is good but very far from downtown.
Tips: Know about your course before joining and know about your campus and your professors. Placement scenario that is happening after your course gets over is important to know. There is not a big culture shift after moving here. There are opportunities for scholarships but very less students are aware of them. The college is nice but it is very far from downtown and the travel time is something which you will have to bear.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is good and can try to include more case studies in the course. The ppts shared by the prof are okay. Over the course, cont is nice but can be improved and can have more practical knowledge with regards to the industry. Practical knowledge with regard to the industry is lacking.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The food options are okay. College can have more fast food outlets. Only some can't serve all purposes. College can try to include more vegetarian options and fast food joints. Pricing for the Ccsai cafeteria can be improved as well.

Great theoretical knowledge, Assignments are worth learning. Ample Internship opportunities
Tips: Join the college if you're into studies and make sure you attend the college on daily basis. Every attendance counts and submission should be on time. If you think you can invest in your studies then try to come on a work permit. There would be hardships during studies that you won't be able to cover your expenses but don't worry studies are worth the time invested.

Satisfactory, the quality of education is good.
Tips: You should know that there are a lot of assignments, which are sometimes difficult to manage with a part-time job. Also, Covid has destroyed the college life. Studying online is very difficult. It's difficult to learn so our concepts are not clear.
Likes (Part time work): A lot of part time jobs are available near the college. It is located in Toronto, therefore most of the jobs are available in the area as there are a lot of coffee shops, restaurants, etc. near the college. Also, there is a big facility near the college wherein you can take part time job as well.

A student will get 100% knowledge and can be industry ready.
Tips: My college is a government affiliated college. They provide top quality education and prepare a student to work with industry directly. If an individual really wanna study and gain some knowledge then only they should take admission. If anyone just wanna be here to earn money then my college is not for them.

Business (Management) Diploma - Batch of 2023

Tough starting but good ending. A bit stressful but worth it.
Tips: It was a very different environment over here. As there are lots of students from different backgrounds, it would be a golden chance to learn about different countries and cultures. Other than that, there are some options for students to get scholarships but only a few are available for international students and others are for local students. So, we have to check according to our courses and particular College or University. I was satisfied with my course as it was related to my field of interest and background (Business). My institution provided me with facilities such as diverse teaching staff, a proper academic curriculum and support whenever needed. But they charge huge fees to an international student in contrast to local students. Over here in Canada, it is an overall good experience. However, there are lots of regulations and rules which make life a little stressful here.
Likes (Safety): This country is very safe to live for students as well as other general public. For students, there are varieties of departments to deal with different issues such as medical, financial, and tax credits. Apart from this, we see some road problems in winter like accidents, and heavy cold.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There are very few options to get permanent residence in Canada right now because there are temporary restrictions on (SINP) in 22 different working sectors. This includes all food-related and some other industries. If given a chance I would not prefer to permanently immigrate to this country as there are good work opportunities over here. But, the environment over here is a bit stressful and not as natural as the home country.

It is a fine college not great.
Tips: I am satisfied with the college and the country however it is a subjective thing. The study is mostly self and you have to prepare everything by yourself. The faculty does help you if you are stuck somewhere. I had not availed of any scholarships for my studies.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are options for the settlement based on the immigration scheme from the government. I would like to stay in the country. Everyone has their own fair share of reasons for whether they would like to stay in the country. I would like to work hard and explore the opportunities available.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Very few companies or none would come for the placements. Individuals on their own have to do the work to get a field job. Since there was no company during my passing I have no idea about the packages they provide. You need to upgrade your skills in order to get the desired jobs.
