DCU is good and I would recommend it to others.
Tips: It's a great school in a beautiful country with wonderful people. Students should know that it is important to learn about the ranking of the university and see if you're eligible for any scholarships at the initial stage after you receive your seat. Also, keep in mind that exploring the city during your course may be limited due to budget constraints.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at DCU are both helpful and approved making the academic experience more engaging and enriching. From the very beginning, professors are super helpful and committed to ensuring that students adapt well to the new academic environment. Initially, catching up can be quite challenging especially for those familiar teaching methods compare to back home. However, as time pass by, the process becomes more adaptable and manageable with the support of the faculty. Professors at DCU encourage us to participate actively in discussions and, collaboration and inclusive teaching atmosphere. The open discussions between professors and students are particularly engaging and interesting allowing us to exchange diverse perceptive. Faculty members bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table, which they share enthusiastically, inspiring students to think critically and be innovative. One of the most remarkable aspects of the faculty is their openness and accessibility. Whether it is during lectures, office hours or through emails, they are always willing to assist during working hours and provide guidance on assignments and projects. Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are limited, and the competition for the available positions is fierce. Off-campus employment opportunities are somewhat better, but it can take a while to find a suitable position. Personally, I have been able to manage my part-time work and studies, but I have less time for myself. The minimum wage here is 12.5.

Dublin City University has a fun campus and the student life here is amazing.
Tips: Dublin City University (DCU) is perfect for someone looking to pursue greater heights academically and in other fields like sports. They maintain an excellent standard for themselves. So far in my time at DCU, they have offered the best college experience compared to my previous University.
Likes (Student Life): My current campus offers many facilities that my previous university didn't, such as a pharmacy, a supermarket, designed space to eat, and a proper canteen. Additionally, we're kept well-informed about various events and activities through their engaging Instagram pages.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food available here is either overpriced or lacks authenticity, leaving me disappointed. Given the high cost and poor quality, I've realized that I could easily prepare the same dishes at home. Not only would it be more affordable, but it would also taste better.

Tips: Students should be aware that student life in Ireland is very different from that in India. While life here is amazing, students must be prepared to work hard to achieve a good life after graduation. The student life here is amazing. Students and teachers are really friendly and helpful with coursework. The lectures are amazing and I love the student life here. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the experiences.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are part-time opportunities, but most of them are already taken and the job postings are just for name sake and there are no proper responses from anyone. Everything happens with reference here and it is a bit difficult to get into so we have to try hard.

My experience at DCU was good, but I think the university could do more to help it.
Tips: Students should know that the transition will be heard as they move away from the safety of their home. The course has mostly Indians though, as I expected more diversity there. I got a scholarship of 2000 Euros for my course fee. The college can be rated as above average after TCD and UCD here in Dublin. It is a nice university, but the faculty could have been better, as a lot of new first-time professors in this January intake were here. Nonetheless, a lot of hard work and self-study are needed.

Good experience but a bad market with limited job.
Tips: At least have 2 years of experience otherwise, get some experience and come aboard. To get a scholarship you've to be an early applicant. It is completely random. Don't be shy to talk or ask questions. No one is going to judge you. People in the college are more friendly and make you feel more comfortable.
Likes (Part time work): Yow will land any part-time job. Visit directly to the place and talk to the manager about any available vacancy. This will increase your chance of landing a job. Don't apply online for a part-time job and wait for a reply. It never going to work like that.
Dislikes (Internships): There are no internship opportunities in Ireland. Here they prefer a graduate role. It's very rare to get an internship opportunity in Ireland. Since companies prefer a graduate role over an internship. It's limited in Ireland, as the majority of businesses focus on graduate employment.

Great transportation facility to explore the city, good University with strong academics.
Tips: Students should be aware of their program's prerequisites and the registration procedure when they attend DCU. Attend the campus resources orientation and seek assistance from student services. Keep track of your assignments and due dates. Join organizations and groups to get a well-rounded experience. If you don't reside on campus, schedule your commute.
Likes (Public transportation): Direct Bus: A direct bus service that connects DCU and Palmerstown may not exist. Dublin Bus, however, has several routes that can get you there. For instance, you might have to ride the bus from DCU to the city centre, where you'll need to change to another one that goes to Palmerstown. Routes: The 25, 66, and 67 are frequently used routes in the Palmerstown region. For comprehensive route information and real-time updates, visit the Dublin Bus website.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Like if you get a job then you will have to renew your stamp to 1G and from stamp 2 which is a student visa. After that if you get a job then you can get a critical skills visa that is stamp 1 directly after living for 2 years u are eligible for stamp 4.

Easy going, friendly environment with a big campus and a huge library.
Tips: Before joining this college students should check for scholarships. The people here are friendly and the professors are fantastic to work with. The course was kind of challenging but you get guidance from professors. It's a really small country and everyone knows each other moreover most of the people are friendly.
Likes (Student Life): The student union, fun events and there are Nubar to the hill as well. There are three different campuses and if you have a DCU ID you can stroll around during free time. Glasnevin campus is huge one St. Patrick's campus is the smallest. They do have cultural events too.
Dislikes (Internships): Not really, internships are pretty tough to get. I did not find any internships related to my course and as I have a good experience I focused more on getting a full time job. But if you can try your luck on LinkedIn to find internships or apprenticeships.

My experience at Dublin City University was wonderful and memorable.
Tips: Students should have some background knowledge about the course and how the job market is for those roles. I got a scholarship of 4000 based on my previous academic scores.
I did my master's completely online as I was in the Covid batch, for which I felt the fee was a bit high. The quality of teaching is very good and I’d recommend it to anybody.
Likes (Post study jobs): I got my job based on my previous experience. However, studying at this university was also an add-on advantage to getting a job. I have worked in two companies after graduation, both sponsored visas for work.
I working in automation testing and my salary was between 35-40k during the first year.
Dislikes (Safety): I have heard from my friends who live in that area that the locality is not very safe. Teenagers bully people and steal from them. I’ve also heard the neighbourhood is very quiet and some students find it difficult to walk alone at times.
Other than that the student accommodation is safe and friendly.

Excellent, approachable, helpful and friendly faculty that motivates us to do good.
Tips: You get to learn a lot of things when you are coming as an international student. There are cultural shifts and also there are many things here that are not the same as in India but we all get adjusted to those things easily. Overall, I am really satisfied.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Very approachable and friendly. Everything theoretical things are shown practically with live examples and also industrial experiences of professors help understand problems more deeply. The helping nature of the faculty motivates us to study and the strict faculty always keeps us on our toes.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The year 2024 is not too good for the job as there are many people and very few jobs. Ireland was not ready for this much intake which has caused trouble here. Very few companies are offering sponsorship and the salary is a minimum of 35,000 Euros per year.

No attendance, good online study portal, and fair grading system.
Tips: No attendance, going to college is optional which is a big plus. Good online study portal to access all the study material. All classroom lecture recordings are uploaded by lecturers and are available by the EOD on the online study portal and there is a fair marking system for assignments.
Likes (Safety): It is a good and safe university to study. However, the surrounding areas are very unsafe to live in. I would suggest upcoming students research more about the unsafe places in Dubin and get accommodation in good areas. Teenagers are causing a big problem in Ireland mainly in a few areas of Dublin. Some mob will come hit you and may cause you severe injuries, but still, you may not get help from anybody including the government and they won't even get punished by law. So choose a good area to live in and travel by bus and with friends mostly.
Dislikes (Internships): We have to apply to companies for internships or jobs. University won't bring any companies like how it happens in India. Some companies will come to the college to advertise their companies and during that time if there are any relevant companies we can ask them and check if there are any jobs available. If yes we have to apply through their company's careers page.

DCU has a great campus with helpful professors.
Tips: I didn't get any scholarship since I applied for this college before I finished my Bachelors. Had I applied it later I would have gotten at least a 2000 Euro scholarship. I am very much satisfied with the country and the courses they provides, the university also as a whole was very good and affordable when I came here.
Likes (Safety): Everything regarding safety is very good for me in this city. The only people who look down are the other Indians in this country since many carry on with an attitude. I don't like to speak to any other Indians except my friends since whenever I approached any other Indians they were rude to me initially.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I don't have a job at the moment since I require sponsorship to stay in this country but given a chance to permanent reside in the country, I would take that chance since it has greater benefits and is very lively. In the initial days I wanted to leave the country but as the time passes you get adjusted to it.

Amazing university, amazing faculty and a huge learning opportunity.
Tips: If someone is joining a technical course, they should be well rehearsed with the technology taught in the course as mostly everything is taught through applied principles. So one should prepare beforehand as it is going to be tough to study a STEM course here.
Likes (Internships): DCU gives opportunities for internships for under graduates and also for Masters. They give opportunities to take internships in their research programs. In my course Intel comes every year, they select 10 students for a job offer and also 3000 Euros scholarship.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food is hard to get as it is expensive and if you cook yourself it will be better. It doesn't depend on the college you choose, for food, you have to learn cooking. Indian cooking material is easily available. Almost everything. For dosa lovers I would suggest bring dosa pan from India and bring cooker as well.

DCU - Exploring Excellence. Transportation is a challenge but overall, worth experiencing.
Tips: No doubt one will experience a cultural shift after coming to Ireland. However, it depends upon an individual how they want to groom themselves. I transition myself in a positive way by networking and increasing my knowledge. I also got a 2,000 EUR scholarship from my university basis my merit & SOP. I am quite satisfied with my journey in Ireland and would suggest everyone to come in here with an open mindset so that they are well prepared to face the initial challenges.
Likes (Value for money): The tuition fee for the course is satisfactory. The faculty of the college is very supportive and provides guidance to the students whenever required. DCU provides real market knowledge to students that helps one to get a job and have an edge in the market.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Dublin's Public Transportation is a 3-star due to its mixed performance across various following aspects:
1. Accessibility & Coverage:
While major areas are well connected by buses, Luas and Arts certain suburban and rural areas experience limited-service frequency and connectivity. DCU (Dublin City University) is situated in North Dublin i. e. D9, thus its connectivity from City Center is good as we have 3 buses (155,4 and 13) each running at an interval of 10-15 minutes right from DCU main campus GATE. It takes 35 minutes from the city center to reach the college thus it is preferable, to stay near the campus at least till the college period.
2. Reliability & Punctuality:
Delays especially during the peak hours are not uncommon, leading to frustration. Also, it's worth mentioning that not all buses are 24*7, thus people find it difficult to commute post-midnight. Traffic can be witnessed during peak hours which delays transportation. Additionally, disruptions due to maintenance work or unforeseen circumstances further exacerbate the issue, often leaving the passengers seeking alternative modes of transportation.
3. Affordability & Value:
Dublin Transportation can be accessed through Leap cards which can be easily built for students from their college. DCU provides these supports and has thus proved to be very beneficial for me as they provided me with all the initial necessary guidance related to the leap card. The student leap card costs 1 EUR for one time travelling which is valid for 90 minutes while the normal taps on general leap cards cost 2 EUR per tap in.

The university is nice but experience may widely depend on the course you take.
Tips: The University of Limerick offers plenty of opportunities for students to grow and experience international life. However, most of the courses are only one year long, and the content is very condensed. This makes for a lot of stress, as students try to cover a huge amount of material in a short amount of time. Additionally, living on campus is expensive.
Likes (Safety): The University of Limerick has good safety measures on campus, and the public is generally safe. There is no violence or evident racism, but kids of a certain age outside the university can be troublesome. Otherwise, I felt safe almost everywhere I went.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The University of Limerick offers very nice job opportunities, but mostly for experienced people in certain domains. They accept only 30% of immigrants in corporations, and it is difficult to get my resume shortlisted. The long interview processes in general do not prefer students holding stamp 2 or stamp 1G visas.

2. Student Accommodation: There are on-campus and off-campus housing options. On-campus accommodation can fill up quickly, so apply early. Off-campus housing is also available but may need more research to find a good spot.

4. Library and Study Space: The UL library is a great place for studying and research. You can also find quiet rooms or group study areas around campus.

The only reason I didn't give a perfect score is that while there is a lot to do, some services or activities can get crowded or competitive due to high demand. Nonetheless, overall student life at UL is lively and offers a great balance of academic and social experiences.
Dislikes (Internships): I rated 3 for internships because, for masters students, the process of finding and applying for internships is primarily self-driven. You are responsible for searching for relevant opportunities, submitting applications, and going through the interview processes independent. While the university does provide some guidance, such as career fair, workshops, and resume-building sessions, the bulk of the effort fall on the student. This can be challenging, especially for international students who may not be as familiar with the local job market or hiring processes. In contrast, for Bachelors students at the University of Limerick, the internship process is more structured and supported by the university. One of the best universities in Ireland in terms of research in English and medical devices.
Tips: Students should have some prior experience in their respective fields if they want to come to Ireland. The weather in Ireland is very unpredictable so better prepare yourself for the wind and cold weather. There are many people from India coming to Ireland so you will find some shops with Indian masala and food. The Irish culture is very warm and welcoming so you will like the people of this country. I did not get any scholarship and my classmates got a maximum of 1500 Euros as a scholarship on their total tuition fees. The University gives it to the student while applying and the criteria are the students should get at least 65% marks in their previous graduation. I'm very satisfied with the university, course and country as this country has all the necessary things that you need while staying here.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is very frequent and the students here get an extra discount on these buses. You just have to get your leap card from the university. There are several buses between the university and the city centre. Majorly, bus numbers 304, 304a and 310 are buses which I usually take. For students, these buses are very cheap, hence affordable and convenient. Most of the students here purchase a bicycle from the store and use it to travel. The university also provides bicycles for certain prices. But these are very cheap as compared to other retail shops.
Dislikes (Part time work): We do get part-time opportunities on-campus in the form of Lab assistant or Teaching assistant. We also have the option to work in a campus store with different job roles. If I talk about off-campus, there are several part-time opportunities, like working in bars, stores, etc. You just have to make your part-time resume and deliver it to the store managers. We are only allowed to work for 20 hours per week, which helps us to not indulge in part-time jobs and concentrate on our studies. We get free time in the afternoon to do our studies. Average part-time jobs will get you a minimum of 12 Euros.

Good and friendly university.
Tips: The university is good, studies are more application and research-oriented, and there are a lot of assignments and projects. Overall, the course is good, and people are friendly. The weather is bad, gloomy, cold and sometimes depressing. You can find crimes happening in Limerick City, but the campus is safe.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty members are specialized in their fields and have relevant experience. They are easy to approach, and the teaching methodology is mostly research and application-oriented. Exams are less important than projects. If your course is technical, then you will be studying with mostly 95% Indian or South Asian students.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are very limited vegetarian food options available if you are planning to eat outside. And eating outside is not affordable. There are a lot of options available in terms of restaurants for eating outside, mostly non-vegetarian food. A full meal can cost at least 10 Euros.

Fun loving campus and staff, amazing infrastructure.
Tips: Before joining this college students should know that the evaluation patterns are very different from India, and it is easy to follow through for students if they're genuinely interested in the course. Dedicated preparation for classes sticking to the submission deadlines and staying away from plagiarism will help you go a long way. The faculty is warm, welcoming and helpful so reach out to them for any query. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my course and college.
Likes (Student Life): The campus culture is very rich and vibrant. There are so many options for students to explore the country and have a good time. Numerous events are being organized every week to keep the students engaged, and a general sense of friendliness around the city. The student clubs range from sports to art and also cover activities like hiking, kayaking and more. Great options for students to explore sports.
Dislikes (Internships): There are only a few opportunities on campus, and those are awarded to the top performers in the course. Also, there aren't many relevant internships posted on job websites. This is a very competitive field, and it takes a lot of time to settle in. Previous work experience would be a big help.

My academic experience of thriving in a dynamic campus environment.
Tips: When I first came here, there was a bit of a transition period. Managing everything at the start was challenging, but over time, I got used to it. One cultural shift I experienced is how often people say 'Sorry' and 'Thank You' in everyday interactions, which is quite different from what I was used to back in India. Regarding scholarships, I received one that most students get after applying to the university. There wasn't much complexity in the process, it was a standard offering. I'm very satisfied with both my university and my course. The green campus is beautiful, and watching the Shannon River flow through the university is something I really enjoy. The course met my academic expectations, especially because I chose the statistical pathway to drive deeper into the mathematics behind machine learning models. My thesis collaboration with FSAI was particularly valuable, as it gave me industry-level experience.
Likes (Student Life): In college, I usually have 2-4 hours of classes each day. The rest of the time, I like to be in the edge computing room of the library because it has a dual monitor setup and a fast PC, which really helps me with my work. Many events are organized on campus, including celebrations for festivals like Diwali, Holi, Eid, and others. These events bring a lively atmosphere, and I enjoy participating whenever I can. As for student clubs, there are many to choose from, and I was part of the photography club, which allowed me to connect with many Irish people and build connections.
Dislikes (Internships): Although some guidance is available, the competition for these positions is extremely high, especially for non-EU students. The available internships tend to align well with my field of study, but companies often prioritize applicants with EU passports or Stamp 4 visas due to legal work eligibility requirements. As a result, securing an internship becomes more challenging for international students like myself despite having the necessary skills and qualifications.

Best campus life at a cost.
Tips: This particular course won't make you market-ready, so be prepared for that. Also, be ready to search for a job and if you have taken a loan then it will take at least 3-6 months after your course ends. If you are not financially strong, find a part-time job as soon as you arrive in Ireland.
Likes (Student Life): The University of Limerick has one of the largest campuses in Ireland, and it's equipped with all the facilities students need. Students can participate in various sports and activities, and the campus is a great place to live. There are even pubs on campus, like Tables and Friday Nights, which definitely enhance the quality of student life.
Dislikes (Internships): The lack of internships available through the college is a downside for the Business Analytics course. The course will make you aware of the tools and technology used in the industry, but you should be prepared with the basics of the software you will be learning. This will help you to be one step ahead.

Beautiful campus with great and friendly environment.
Tips: I have learned a lot more in core papers than I ever did during my undergraduate. The cultural shift is being kind and diligent to everyone no matter what and open to helping anyone. I didn't avail of any scholarships. I am satisfied with my university except for no internship or coop arrangements for Masters students. The country is very beautiful with nice people.
Likes (Student Life): We have two classes per day, one might be a lab class. I enjoyed the beautiful campus and thorough practical learning process. There are a lot of events organised ranging from technical to festive. The first Seven Weeks will be filled with different events and trips across Ireland. Since then, every Friday is International night, where one can network a lot.
Dislikes (Internships): The university has a careers page where you can find job postings however there are approximately zero internships. The most important downside of this university is that there are no proper internships or coop arrangements for Master's students, assuming Bachelor students have a chance.

The faculty is good but internship opportunities are very limited.
Tips: Students should try to find accommodation close to the university if searching for off-campus. and all the amenities are pretty close to the university. I also received a scholarship of 1500 Euros. I am really satisfied with the university; however, the course could use some room for more improvement.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The quality and facilities of everything were good including the food and classrooms. There is also a grocery store named Spare on the campus, which is convenient for people living on campus. Also, the best thing about the university is its widespread and beautiful green campus.
Dislikes (Internships): There was no assistance or involvement from the college for summer internships, even though our course included an internship for the summer. I wish there was more focus in that area as it would have been beneficial, as finding a job is already really hard, especially if you are a fresher.

A University for the Integration of everything together.
Tips: I see that the Irish people talk too fast as it takes quite a time to understand their language. Similarly, people from other native English-speaking countries talk in a certain manner so in this scenario try to make local English-speaking friends and try to talk to them as much as possible so that you will learn how to carry out a conversation. If you apply for UL it will automatically check and grant you a scholarship of 1500 Euros. I love Ireland, and I would love it more once I get a full-time job. The University is also amazing, it has a lot to do. However, I feel the course I completed didn't help me learn anything. I also feel somewhere that I won't get a job for the Data Scientist position perhaps I will get one for my previous experiences.
Likes (Student Life): UL is full of fun, more than studies you will get to see something exciting every day on the campus. It is full of events and celebrations. The Post-graduation Student Union (PSU) is my favourite part here. They keep on organizing different events every other day on campus. There is a humongous group of societies that UL offers. It has every type of society of all interests. If a student is more of an extra-curricular person I recommend them to be a part of UL.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty does not play a vital role in a student's journey here. The student has to decide their own future. No doubt the professor will always be at your back to answer any of your questions, but one should not expect spoon feeding from them. Most of the teaching methodologies here would be a combination of assignments, exams, projects, group projects, reports etc. The classes take place at the professor's convenience online or offline, some of the professors adopt a dynamic kind of teaching methodology where they only clear doubts of the students in the class and ask students to go through the notes at home. Most of the teachers here are Irish, and some of them belong to different countries such as Korea, Russia etc.

It is a home away from home with friendly people.
Tips: Be open to embracing changes. Be friendly as local people here are friendly and supportive. The professors are very experienced and will go an extra mile to support you. UL has the biggest library in Ireland and the best of labs to support you. The recreational activities are also great.
Likes (Public transportation): Buses and trains are the common modes of public transport and both are on time and very comfortable. The cost of travelling by public transport is minimal. Just make sure to get your leap card for discounted and hassle-free travel. Make sure to do at least one train journey. It’s worth it.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): If you search smartly then a lot of jobs are available. The university staff is very supportive. Most of the jobs are entry-level so you have to be patient to get the right job. The interview processes are straightforward and mostly online which makes it easier.

Tips: Ireland offers many scholarships for the student which need to be applied in advance. Check for the scholarship as you move ahead with your college application. Also keep looking for job opportunities parallely as the duration of the course is less and students might get overwhelmed with all the transitions happening at the same time.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Many social societies to choose from based on the student's interest which makes students enjoy college life. Career fairs are organised to get the students' idea of which companies can be applied for. The campus is big and gives a feeling of renowned university status.
Dislikes (Internships): The faculty are really knowledgeable and teach in student friendly manner. Their approach towards students gives them more confidence in learning new subjects. Practical and theory classes have a great balance to learn the industrial needs and adapt to organizational needs accordingly.

An exciting and satisfactory journey for the students.
Tips: Scholarships will be awarded based on your education qualification and previous experience. It will be part of your application process, no extra steps to be followed. It will be around 1500 euro and I got the same when I applied for this university. In terms of course I would say it was moderate, but if you want to enjoy student life then this is the right university for you to join.
Likes (Student Life): Lively campus with lots of activities and communities to be engaged in throughout your master's. A great opportunity to develop leadership skills if you are studying any of their business courses. There are varieties of clubs or communities comprising both academics and sports to choose from and lots of events are organized every week. Friday nights are the best that I have attended.
Dislikes (Internships): Searching for internships depends entirely on your ability. No extra guidance will be provided by the university on opportunities. In my experience to date, I haven't seen more opportunities for internships, however, you will have a lot of roles to avail of once you are graduated.

Tips: You should know that the course structure is not as easy as it looks like, they have a strict policy and education structure. Assignments will be tough but very informative, you have to study by yourself and cannot depend on ppts or lecture notes. Teachers are really helpful so they will help you out for sure.
Likes (Safety): Limerick or Ireland for that matter is very safe and secure for international students. You can be out late till 4 am and it’s not dangerous at all. People are really very sweet and are always greeting you and wishing for your well being, even random Irish people will ask you if you need any help and will definitely help you out. It’s safe for women, they can roam around any time of the day, anywhere.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Cabs are really expensive and buses only run till 10 pm. So if you’re out and need to come back late you have to take a cab. There are no tramps or any other source of transportation but just cabs, and they can be really expensive even for short distances.

Post-grad student's views on the University of Limerick.
Tips: My review only stands for postgraduate students. If you're an undergrad, do look for co-op placement courses that the University of Limerick offers. Additionally, I would suggest anyone coming over to Ireland to prepare their CVs and portfolios because the deadlines for graduate programmes and career fair is way too early for any student just beginning their academic journey here. Moreover, do secure a roof over your head early on- the accommodation crisis in Ireland is real.
Likes (Safety): Castletroy, where the university is located, is one of the safest places in Limerick. Overall, I would say Limerick as a whole is a lot safer than a lot of other places in Ireland. The kids over here could be a hassle, so just try to avoid any confrontation with them.
Dislikes (Internships): The master's programme runs for a duration of 1-year. Therefore you can't find any internships during this period. Additionally, there are no tie-ups with the companies present here where you could try to get internships later after your studies. While the undergrad courses in this university have some co-op placement courses that you may be interested in.

The accommodation is very bad, so you need to book your accommodation before you come to college. You also need to know what you are going to study. You must know these things before you come to college.
Likes (Part time work): Part-time jobs are easily available. You can get a part-time job whenever you want, and it's very easy to get a job. They all need students for part-time jobs, and you can work here and earn good money, like 1000 per month while working 80 hours per month.
Dislikes (Internships): Internships are very low because the university does not provide any internships. If you want to do an internship, you have to find one yourself. The university will only provide the title of the internship, but nothing else.

Wonderful student life experience with lots of learning.
Tips: Students should know that there is a cultural shift and that's when one grows as an individual as you come out of your comfort zone and your nation, you learn to be independent and you learn all the basic necessary life skills like cooking, cleaning etc. There is a scholarship, it depends on your profile and undergrad score. I am pleased with my time at the university as I got to learn about various things from various people from around the world.
Likes (Public transportation): There is excellent service for local and public bus transportation. There are trains as well for transportation and numerous buses connecting all major cities as well as small towns in between. Price is affordable for students with 'Student Leap Card' as it gives around 50% discount on all public transportation.
Dislikes (Internships): No such internship is available as the university doesn't have such tie-ups with companies for internship offers. Some universities in Dublin have internship tie-ups with various companies as a part of their course. Due to present market conditions, it is hard to find a job and also internship opportunities.
