Things to know before joining EU Business School
Tips: We need to study and do the assignments from the beginning as there are deadlines for all assignments. Kindly note it's difficult to extend the deadline without proper reasons until and unless if you are sick and have a proper doctor certificate. Professors are very good and you will get practical experience from them which is very important for job seeking and Entrepreneurship.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): In Germany, there is a criteria to follow which are simple and easy as compared with other countries. These criteria are: Speak German upto B1 level, have a decent salary, stay in Germany upto 4 to 5 years after your completion of study. Jobs are bit difficult to get at the beginning even if you are experienced however once you get a full time job and if you can survive 6 months in the company, you get your permanent position.
Dislikes (Value for money): Compared to other universities, fees is low. However there is a bad part in this university, passing marks is 70 and if you get below 70 in any subject, you need to pay approximately 2000 euros to retake the subject and they don't give you degree or rather not applicable for dissertation if you have below 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 as per UK system of study. Keeping that in mind, one should move forward. To get more CGPA, you can redo
a subject however you need to pay 150 euros per subject.

The university is on the outskirts of Berlin. Good environment for students to focus on studies.
Tips: When you walk down the street, people will often smile at you and say hello or Guten Morgan which is good morning in German. At first, it's a bit shocking, but you get used to it and it feels nice. When you decide you can do it alone you become very strong and sometimes students might feel homesick and it can really make you fragile at times but for all, it's worth it you'll be successful and can bring your parents abroad with you. I applied early and got a 25% scholarship on the fee structure. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the experiences here.
Likes (Part time work): I have 3 days of lecture a week and the rest days I do my part-time job. I think student life balance is pretty good here this year the average payout changed from 12 to 13 euros.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I cook daily Indian authentic meals because even if you go to Indian restaurants you won't get the proper taste like in India. There are a lot of restaurants though people here prefer donors a lot Turkish wrap and it tastes nice. Start learning how to cook and I believe you would want to have some dal and rice when you are abroad.

An enriching, fast-paced journey in a global environment.
Tips: Before joining Gisma, students should be ready for a fast-paced, international environment that values time management and adaptability. The cultural shift, especially around punctuality and direct communication, has been enriching. The faculty are very understanding and highly educated and helped us throughout the semester. I'm satisfied with my M.Sc. programme, and Germany's opportunities make the experience worthwhile.

An enriching academic and cultural experience with practical insights.
Tips: Students should know that adapting to life here requires a bit of preparation, especially around accommodation and budgeting. It's beneficial to research the academic structure and available resources to maximize your learning experience. Understanding the public transportation system, learning basic language phrases, and familiarizing yourself with the cultural norms can also be very helpful. The transition has been smooth overall, but there was a noticeable cultural shift. The emphasis on independence, self-guided learning, and punctuality in both academic and social setting took some adjusting. I also found that social interactions are generally more reserved, which differ from what I was accustomed to. However, these aspects have positively impacted my growth, helping me become more self-reliant and adaptable. I did not avail myself of any scholarships, but there are opportunities available for students based on merit and need. It's worth searching and applying early, as the requirements can be competitive. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my university and course.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is both efficient and reliable here. The campus is well-connected with the rest of the city through multiple modes of transportation, such as buses, trams, and trains, making computing straightforward and convenient. Public transportation overall is affordable, with various pass options for students, which makes daily travel budget-friendly. Additionally, the convenience of frequent services and easy access to main areas around the city contribute to a seamless experience for both regular commutes and exploring new places.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): While there are opportunities, they might require more stability in terms of work, housing, and residence status before making it a long-term commitment. If I had to settle here permanently, my chances would depend on factors like job security, future residence regulations, and my personal adaptation to the country. Given the chance, I would consider permanent immigration if it aligns with my career goals and personal growth, but I would also weigh it against other international opportunities.

A place to start you sustainable career
Tips: Know about the major differences in the country, difference between Hochschule and Private universities. It is often difficult to mix up between regular private universities which don't offer the best education. Choose only and only universities of applied sciences or hochschule that are a bridge between public and private universities.
Likes (Safety): For an MBA degree finishing the accreditation is important. GISMA is AMBA certified and the fee is quite low than their nearest accredited competition. Finding jobs is quite a challenge in Germany if you don't speak the language so keep fees lower to not have the burden post academics. The ROI is under 5 months for my course.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food is all germanized, so it is difficult to find authentic food. We need to get it aligned with the chef. I often go to the restaurants that I am aware of and always make my rapport thereby getting the food made as per the desi style. Pakistanis restaurants are way better than regular Indian restaurants.
