Master of Science in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.1
It was a positive and a lively experience.
Tips: I got to experience a lot more independence and room for growth than I had before. The people and the professors make it a very interesting environment and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been represented with even though finding a job or immigrating is a big challenge. Overall I am satisfied with the course, college and country.

It’s a good and moderate university.
Tips: It's a good university that gives a good life to students and helps in culture fest related to our Indian culture. It is safe and secure to live and I think scholarships are also available if we apply then we get them, and I'm satisfied but the tuition fee is a little bit higher than I guessed.

Good cultural change to experience but the university is not up to the mark.
Tips: We need to have a good skill set to achieve success. We have to maintain confidence within ourselves in any situation and also be strong to achieve something in our life. It's good to live here if we have courage to survive. I’ve experienced a cultural change and it turned out to be good for me. There are scholarships for that we need to qualify some set of eligibility criteria like good GPA and have good skills. Overall, I’m not satisfied with this university.

It’s a decent university and you can enjoy with studies.
Tips: I've experienced a little bit of cultural tradition change and it's good to feel a different vibe. And I didn't get any scholarships right now but I will get scholarships with my confidence. Coming to university it's okay but not worth the money I've spent on this university. Also the course is good and the country is better to live here.

A good university but not the best
Tips: It's difficult to manage everything. It feels overwhelming but by time you'll eventually get used to it. No scholarships are provided here mind that and Florida is really costly when it comes to renting food or cabs. You need to be really fast while registering for classes. They'll open it even before you get a visa make sure to enroll.
Likes (Safety): The crime rate is less here. People around are good and the communities we live in are very safe. The university is diverse and police are always there to help on campus. There are several facts for us to be safe. Just make sure to mind your own business and everything just works out.
Dislikes (Value for money): For this amount, I would've got a better college with a scholarship. There's less opportunity for international students here and scholarships are less too. Tuition fees are costly, it would be really helpful if they've provided scholarships. On-campus job opportunities are less too.

The university and faculty people are very friendly.
Tips: The culture here is very easy to adapt and you don’t find any discrimination. Also not hard to get along with others. Here there are no scholarships for the new people . The professors are highly talented and helpful. They are ready to help whenever you need them and they will try to think out of the box.
Likes (Safety): It’s very safe over here in Boca Raton the crime rate is very low from my personal experience till now I haven’t come across any crimes like theft. We will have transport till 10 pm except on the weekends and the means of transport is easy to travel to university.
Dislikes (Part time work): It’s difficult to find jobs. We are not getting part-time on campus and we need to transfer funds from home for certain periods of time due to more number of students it’s hard to find jobs on campus. We need to keep on trying and applying for jobs. So it’s better to apply for other jobs instead of in food courts.

The university has a great faculty, transportation facilities are excellent.
Tips: Students should know that there are no scholarships for international students and if you look at the academics, I'm pursuing my Masters in Computer Science. The syllabus is obviously updated but you should give more time prepping yourself and you should not rely on classes or professors only. Overall, the University is good.
Likes (Public transportation): If you choose living in Boca Raton, Delray, Hollywood etc. You may find public transportation either bus or train. And fare lies between 2$ to 5$. I say it's affordable. Usually there will be a bus for every 15 to 30 minutes. In weekends the schedule will be changed. Its like one for every 45 minutes. Honesty, you may not require bus to go university in week offs. If you prefer uber they gonna ask your assets for sure.
Dislikes (Part time work): The average payout lies in the range of 10 to 12$ per hour. On campus opportunities are mostly based on references. However they are limited. But, I suggest not to depend on both on and off campus opportunities. Fly for your study, your Masters and your life.

Big cities with lots of opportunities.
Tips: FAU is similar to every PG college in the US when it comes to academics, but the city you will live in is a very happening place and lots of foreigners are there, unlike other Indian cities. The city is big and you will not need to worry about part-time jobs.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): FAU is very diverse in the students, as they are coming from different countries. Having students from different countries would improve our skills and also help the students to overcome their fear of interacting with new people.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Faculty is very cooperative and understanding when it comes to academics. They give a lot of assignments to complete but it helps improve our experience which is required to build our knowledge. The assignment also helps us with interviews.

Life at the University of Bristol: Balancing Studies and Campus Life
Tips: My transition has been quite smooth. I did not find too much different from my usual way of living in India. Privacy and politeness are a lot more prevalent in the UK as a whole. I applied to the Think Big Scholarship but was unable to get it. Bristol is the hill, so walks feel like long hikes here, which is quite an enjoyable workout. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my university.
Likes (Value for money): The tuition fees do seem a little on the higher side, but the amenities offered by the University of Bristol are top-notch. So, I feel that it is worth the money. The student societies and unions conduct events almost every day, you can join any sports club you want, you can join their gym, swim and so much more along with studies. Their lecture halls are great, faculty is very experienced with excellent diversity in the student population.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian restaurants with student offers, but the prices are a little too high. For a meal for 1, you generally need to pay at least 20 Pounds. There are a bunch of pubs where you get meal deals for under 10 Pounds, and somewhere you also get free refills of tea and coffee, like Wetherspoons. I prefer to cook myself and eat outside once in a while with friends.

Decent education with a hefty price
Tips: There is a cultural shift while moving to a new country as always. Things are done differently compared to back home. Trying to be part of their community help in getting accustomed to the people. No scholarships are provided. University is good overall. Course is good as well. You have the freedom to how deep you want to go in a particular module. Lecturers are smart however they lack lecturing skills. Lecturers who have native language English are good at it.
Likes (Part time work): Both on-campus and off-campus opportunities are good. If your proactive and committed in looking at jobs everywhere you will always find one. University has a lot of jobs on its portals on a daily basis and they pay well. You just need to keep looking till you find one. The basic salary is 10.42.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent settlement chances are limited. You have to be proactive and committed in this process or you won't be able to find one. Recently country policies have been against excessive immigration so thinking it will be easy here will be a bit delusional. Given a chance yes I will immigrate to this country.

Life and study in university of Bristol is good.
Tips: Bristol is an easy-going laidback fun city that makes you forget you're far from home. The course was created to help students from various backgrounds gain a solid understanding of Data Science. Therefore, if you want to study data Science or AI in greater depth there are better universities with better course descriptions, but if you want to transition from a different field to data Science this course will be useful.

Food options are not good. Job options are hard to find.
Tips: It would help if you searched about the job opportunities available in the country before joining the course. Because most students are facing difficulty in getting a decent job after graduation. Also, research about the accommodation options is beneficial, it is better to take university accommodation.
Likes (Part time work): The part-time job opportunities available at the university are very limited. However, it isn't that hard to find a part-time job outside the university. There are so many stores and restaurants that are there to employ students on a part-time basis.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Although there are a lot of Indian restaurants in the city, a good authentic one is missing. Especially for South Indians, there is hardly any option available. Having food outside is costly as well. We have to cook for yourself for most of the time.

I experienced best college life
Tips: Students coming here would have to balance work and studies. This is going to be the most socially active experience ever. There are plenty of scholarship opportunities as well, varying from region to region. The cultural understanding is fabulous there.
Likes (Internships): They're fully driven towards internships, from the very start of the academic year. They give us internships varying in different eras of management. Not only does it provide really good internships in HR but various other domains of management which as a whole improves overall knowledge.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Since I myself would like to move back to India so haven't explored much about settlement options. But as far as I know, immigration process is good. UK provides various good options for settlement/immigration. So students can choose.

UoB is really great to study because of its faculty and their overall world ranking
Tips: They should definitely check if the city is safe to live in and how many part-time job opportunities it has. They should also see what is in the curriculum and study a bit before coming here if in case it is needed. Focus on getting an internship as it will help you in getting a job later. Students should feel confident before coming because the university has many things to offer that will help us in future.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is really amazing as the university arranges many events for students to get used to the environment and get comfortable. They arrange events in which you can get to know students from different countries and courses and it really helps us build connections.
Dislikes (Internships): It is very different for Masters students to get any internships as our course is only for 1 year. Students should focus on getting a part-time job first as it is comparatively very easy to get one. Getting an internship in the interested field is difficult in my opinion.

There is no concept of placement in any UK university.
