It was a challenging yet fulfilling experience.
Tips: This university has been a very interesting experience so far. The grading system is rigid yet flexible and you will have to bring out your A-game in every aspect of your academic life, be it classes or projects. Along with this, you should be an active part of the alumni network to get internship help or placement advice. Overall, I am satisfied with the college and the country.

Learned a lot and gained insightful knowledge.
Tips: Georgia Teach is an academic and competitive environment so you should be prepared to bring the best out of yourself, especially on the academic front. There are multiple housing and accommodation options available nearby campus so make sure to opt for whichever works ideally.

Georgia Tech for an international freshman is the best if you can balance work and fun.
Tips: For international students from South Asian countries, getting used to doing one's own chores might be challenging but everyone eventually gets accustomed to it. Scholarships are not available to international students as it is a public university. Overall, I love Georgia Teach. I think if one can balance their work and social life, the experience is very lucrative and par every top-tier college in the US.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is great at Georgia Teach: there are many academic and social clubs one can join. Academically oriented clubs are great opportunities for networking while social clubs enable one to meet people with similar interests. Greek life is also a major part of the Georgia Tech experience for many!
Dislikes (Safety): The campus itself is safe: Georgia Tech is a safe bubble. Downtown Atlanta is considered unsafe. As a rule of thumb, it is best not to stay outside beyond 3 AM. There is strength in numbers: travelling in groups is always the preferred option. Campus is safe 99% of the time: campus police patrol the area day and night.

Great academic university.
Tips: The course is pretty good. Lots of resources in terms of job search. There is an opportunity to get funding in terms of student assistant, teaching assistant and research assistant. I really like the university. It's pretty much worth the money. I was able to get used to the culture here.
Likes (Student Life): They have a lot of clubs and activities. They prioritize student health and wellness. They have the robotics club and most clubs don't need prior experience. You can just sign up for anything and they teach you about it from scratch. You get to take part in several competitions.
Dislikes (Safety): We have GTPD and they are always available on call. They do prioritize the safety of the students. This was not on campus but there was a random guy who came up to me and asked me for money. It was definitely scary. There are a lot of homeless people in the area where I live.

Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering - Batch of 2022

Great Tech school with amazing grad program!
Tips: Graduate programs at Georgia tech are well-reputed and provide students with abundant knowledge and exposure. Limitless opportunities are available both during and after graduation from school. Some useful tips while prepping for graduation school: - Reach out to your department and apply for teaching assistantships once you receive the admit. - Email professors and graduation students in the lab (information available on university web page) regarding research assistantships.
Likes (Post study jobs): Even in the field of Aerospace engineering, there are multiple companies that sponsor work visas. As I stayed on for a Ph.D. my knowledge in this domain is limited. From my experience in the lab, industry and national labs are always on the lookout for talented graduation students.
Dislikes (Safety): Multiple safety issues have occurred in the city, but the campus is relatively safe. Housing options close to the campus are recommended. Georgia tech police dept. is extremely responsive in case of any emergency, make sure to contact them. The shuttle system is well-connected and is your best bet for safe transportation in and around campus.

It is the best college according to me in US
Tips: The transition after moving here hasn't been that hard for me. Because I have a lot of Indian friends here who were like a family to me, they did not make me feel like I was lonely or alone. I did not experience a huge cultural shift except for the food and standard of living. I did not avail of any scholarship or allowance. I am mostly satisfied with the university as it is one of the top universities and gave me a lot of opportunities and chances to go ahead in my career.

Amazing and best University for cybersecurity in USA
Tips: Georgia tech being the top ranked university has rigorous course so students coming to Georgia tech should be ready to do hard work. University is situated in Atlanta city which is diverse so students should be ready to adopt themself in that environment. Personally, I haven't experienced many transitions after coming to Georgia tech. Initially, I faced difficulty in following my culture but later everything came to place. I didn't avail of any scholarship. I am fully satisfied with my university, their course and their way of teaching are very good and of course, the country is beautiful and the best place to settle.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty members are easily approachable and accessible and they are often willing to guide students after the class. Many faculty members host drop-in office hours where students can discuss their assignments and other stuff. Teaching methodologies that I find unique and interesting are project-based learning, learning through classroom discussions, and lastly learning through case studies. Diversity can be found in teaching faculty in terms of nationality. Faculty members are from South Korea, France, Germany, Taiwan and so on.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): If I had to settle permanently in this country then chances of me setting is around 80-90% because it is the best place for my career growth, has good and healthy environment and most important every tech giant company like Google, Microsoft and so on is now opening offices in Atlanta. So would consider setting in the country.

Georgia Tech: Apply if you are willing to put in the hard work
Tips: Georgia tech is a college where you will need to put in the work. You won't be spending time partying every other night, going out every weekend and such. You will need to put in the effort in your assignments and classes. For all this effort, the rewards are worth it though. You get admitted into good companies and the tech name helps carry you a long way
Likes (Post study jobs): Aerospace and Industrial Engineering schools rank at the top all over US. Although jobs in aerospace are limited if you are not a US citizen. Other than that, I haven't seen anyone struggle to get jobs in software related areas. Just the name carries you a long way in resume filtering.
Dislikes (Safety): Atlanta has a gun problem. Crimes happen regularly in poor neighborhoods. Right next to my university, 2 times shootings have taken place. Even in one of the upscale neighborhoods, shooting took place recently. These were areas near student housing too! Although US in general is infamous for shooting, Atlanta definitely comes in one of the unsafe cities in the US.

Overall, good experience. Rough weather to get accustomed today.
Tips: You will be in a very academically oriented environment where it is very competitive owing primarily to relatively grading. The weather remains hot throughout the day and if you are prone to allergies it is better that you plan accordingly. Altogether, it is a promising programme.

The University is collaborative and impactful. Plenty of opportunities to explore.
Tips: Before you fully commit to this university, make sure you have a word with a student representative or a former alumni who can give you a clear idea of what to expect on campus. Get an idea of what the university stands for, its history and what your inclination is towards.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The USA is easily one of the most accepting and multifaceted arenas open to people from all ethnicities, races and backgrounds especially if you're starting your life like me. If given the chance, I would certainly immigrate here especially in California.

Good career opportunities.
Tips: 1. Learn cooking, and try to be efficient in cooking as possible. This helps save lots of time 2. Take lots of layered clothing options, to make sure you don't catch cold 3. The MFE course in particular is intensive. Start your interview prep for placements/internships as early as possible before coming.
Likes (Internships): The course has wide range of career options ranging from technology to quantitative research in funds. The career path this program prepares for is quite varied, ranging from Data Science, Teaching to core-finance (which is its USP). Available internships are relevant.
Dislikes (Value for money): The MFE course in particular is expensive. The internships and placements are good but obviously, it comes at a cost. The college infrastructure is quite good though. The faculty is good overall, but MFE being a fast-paced course, they breeze through the course material quite fast.

UC Berkeley: A Crowned Institution in United States.
Tips: Trust me, the university is more competitive than it seems. Students should be prepared to put in a lot of effort. At first glance, the university may appear overwhelming due to its vast size and atmosphere. However, students must take this as an opportunity and learn with their fellow. Also, this is an opportunity to build strong meaningful relationships with your fellow. As in top institutions, like UC Berkeley, apart from academics most of the students come to build these relationships only. I can recall how many good relationships I have built over my time at UC and I am still benefitting from them day-in and out. Students must enrol for a scholarship as the cost of living near the university is relatively high. If you are unable to get a scholarship try to find a good part-time job. About the country well US is US just be good around here don't go to shady areas. Some of the areas have high crime rates and shootings are a common sight. The country will treat you well if you do well.
Likes (Quality of faculty): University of California Berkeley is renowned for its academic excellence and this isn't something to talk about, Come on! Everyone knows it before coming here. The professors are highly knowledgeable and experienced. The professors are very helpful and have unique teaching patterns. It's more of an interaction than teaching and I believe that this is the best method of teaching. However, not every professor at UC Berkeley is exceptional, this needs to be said! At first, I thought enrolling myself at UC Berkeley would be very stressful; nevertheless, the professors do help at every stage to keep the classes interesting and engaging for the students.
Dislikes (Part time work): As I have pursued MS in Computer Science, it is a bit difficult to get a part-time job. The competition is fierce and so is the demand. Due to the high cost of living every other student wants to land on a good part-time job opportunity, therefore making it extremely competitive. However, with the assistance of one of my professors, I was able to land a part-time job. It is difficult to get a part-time job or internship in your field as the competition increases every year. So, start to visualize according. Don't expect that the university will spoon-feed you every single time. Some myths need to be busted!

Amazing experience at University of California
Tips: First and foremost, students should find an accommodation near to the campus and knowing English is better so that you can communicate with everyone. Try to learn some technology or gain some experience in coding so that you can tutor or do part-time work as a frontend or backend Engineer.
Likes (Value for money): We had global exposure with peers coming from all over the world, different cultures and habits. Also, everyone was super helpful and many students ran organizations which were helpful to upscale ourselves. Many extra curricular activities were organized.
Dislikes (Indian Food): When I was working on a project, my professor was helpful and she also connected me with other professionals on the topic I was working on. She also explained personal branding like LinkedIn's do's and don'ts. She was kind and used to give her office hours for our benefit.
