Embracing student life the French way.
Tips: Before joining this French business school, students need to be prepared for a different educational approach. The French system is highly structured, so being organized and disciplined is crucial. Also, understanding a bit of the French language and culture will be beneficial, as it will help you integrate more easily into both academic and social settings. Transitioning to the French business school system has been an enlightening experience for me. I've become more organized and disciplined, adopting the French way of learning, which emphasises thorough understanding and attention to detail. There was definitely a cultural shift, especially in terms of lifestyle and work-life balance. I've learned to appreciate the French culture, which values both hard work and the importance of taking time to enjoy life. I received a scholarship from the school itself under the Professional Experience Award programme. The scholarship amounted to 2,000 Euros. The application process involved submitting my academic achievements, professional background, and motivation for pursuing my studies here. This support helped ease my financial burden and allowed me to focus more on my studies and gain valuable experience. I am really satisfied with my university, the course, and the overall experience in France. The school offers a great learning environment with excellent faculty and diverse classmates, which has broadened my perspectives. The course is rigorous and aligns well with my career goals. Additionally, student life here is vibrant, with many activities and opportunities to connect with people from all over the world. Overall, it's been a fulfilling experience academically, culturally, and personally.
Likes (Public transportation): There is a well-connected Tram line across the city and I never had to face any problem in terms of transportation. Everything is closeby and accessible. The most common modes of travel are tram, cab, bike rentals or carpooling. Tram network is the easiest and most convenient way to travel and it operates until late at night and is very affordable, especially for students.
Dislikes (Part time work): There aren't many opportunities in terms of On-Campus Part-time jobs since it's a small B-School with very few divisions. For off-campus jobs, candidates usually require a good understanding of the French Language and culture. There isn't a lot of academic pressure and part-time jobs are easily manageable. The average payout is about 15 Euros per hour.

Good experience but there are challenges along the way too
Tips: It takes a little while to understand the lay of the land and the area, as well as to figure out how to go about it. But once you get a hang of it, it is absolutely convenient.
The course is really good, I did receive a scholarship from the school as well. However, there is very limited help in finding an Internship.

College is best. But getting an internship is really hard. So come with an experience
Tips: The culture here is different. People party now and then. They always wear sophisticated clothes. I did receive a 2000 Euros unframed scholarship. I wrote an essay and applied through Shiksha and they helped me receive it. I am really satisfied as an Indian it's actually an easy curriculum.

The college is diverse. I am having a lot of fun here.
Tips: The school is really good and a lot of international students are present. I got a scholarship of 2000 euros for that I submitted a scholarship essay. I am now doing an M.Sc. in luxury marketing and brand management course. The main part of the course structure is that it's not all about the exams sometimes you just have to submit your own theoretical reports.

College have good infrastructure, facilities, gym, indoor games and big auditorium.
Tips: First, students who are coming in France for studies then they should know French language, because without French it is impossible to survive here. You have to learn French till A2 before coming here and about college, college is good. Don't panic and be clear about what you want, your efforts will decide what you deserve.

Rennes School of Business: A great experience!
Tips: There wasn't too much of a cultural shift since I took French classes before and understood the differences between France and India. Overall I'd say that I'm quite satisfied with my choice of course and country, I learned a lot and feel prepared for professional life. In general, I'd highly recommend that any students interested in studying in France, learn some French before coming here, it's incredibly helpful and makes finding internships much easier.
Likes (Public transportation): There are bus stops located right outside the school's campus and the closes metro station is only a ten-minute walk away. The city is quite well connected by bus and metro, there are also bicycles and electric scooters for hire. I pay 25 euros per month for the Korrigo travel card which covers all my travel expenses within Rennes. Different French cities are also quite well-connected by train and it only takes 1.5 hours to get to Paris from Rennes.

A good international experience overall. But could be better.
Tips: The curriculum taught by the programme was relevant and of high quality. Although don't expect teachers to help you a lot, most of it you'll have to work on yourself. Cafeteria is relatively cheap and amazing. One can expect decent international exposure. Not easy to integrate with other French students/society. So it's not exactly worth the high price we pay, but I don't regret it either. Please beware of sleazy landlords, most of them are ready to prey on your vulnerability as an international student.

Great faculty, good campus but post study options are not great if you don't know French.
Tips: Be prepared to handle everything by yourself. As far as possible, try to learn French, though the college provides French lessons included in the syllabus. Accommodation can be a hassle, beware of fraud. Pick pocketing is very common. Beware and be careful of the same.
Likes (Student Life): A relaxed, student oriented city. Allows you to have a good balance of social and educational life. There are lots of fun activities if explored rightly. A lot of international students live in the city. A lot of benefits for students with the student card provided.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Not much assistance from the university cause of language barriers. Fluent French is most sought for. It's a long, tedious and tiring process to get post-study internships. The college has a dedicated team, but they do not guarantee a placement, so it more or less depends only on you.
