Unforgettable experience in friendly environment college
Tips: The friendly atmosphere will make anyone feel welcome. The college offers good infrastructure for student life. It changed me a lot in every aspect. There was a very cooperative and friendly environment that never led me to feel alone. I got enormous benefits from language trip. I got two years of scholarship degree in France at the master's degree level. I am extremely satisfied with my university. This is an excellent way to meet new people, make friends and develop new skills.

Historical college, Great alumni network, and amazing diversity.
Tips: Nothing specific to know overall it's a good campus. They are moving to a new location as the school size is now small for the total number of students on the campus. The diversity of students and teachers is rich. Keep yourself open to exploring new initiatives and experiences. It's a great school and a super nice calm city to do your studies.
Likes (Safety): It's a really safe city because of its small size, friendly local accessible transport. While some places are more high-risk, the city provides an overall secure environment. It's a safe place to work, study, and party, with cool places and a lively neighbourhood. You will enjoy your time in Montpellier.
Dislikes (Part time work): Montpellier is a small city and has a significant French speaking population. Proficiency in French is required for most of the part-time jobs available as it involve regular interaction with the customer and within the place. And relatively it has fewer jobs and the number of students is really high in the city.

Part time availability is less but studying in France is an unique experience.
Tips: Students from India are surely up for huge cultural shock though the journey is memorable starting from experiencing French culture, food and heritage. Interacting with students from different countries and getting to know them was enriching and worth the effort. I was awarded charpak Masters scholarship. It included an allowance of 700 euros/month and reimbursement of part of tuition fees. Overall it was a good experience.
Likes (Public transportation): The bus and tram stop are right in front of the campus's main gate and less than a minute away. Travel is convenient with good frequency except on Sunday. Monthly and yearly passes are available for students which are cost-effective, bus and tram tickets cost 1euro/hr otherwise in Montpellier (also the public transport is free on weekends for everyone).
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part time opportunities were limited, almost none ( paid one's). Though quite a handful of off-campus opportunities are available to students knowing fluent French, it is almost impossible to get one without knowing the language. Managing the part-time along with the academics might get quite difficult during the first semester as the schedule is paced however it is not the case with second/third semesters. The payment is done on an hourly basis and in most cases, minimum wage is paid for students ( also the tax is deducted as well from the same ).

The most diverse business school.
Tips: I have no doubt that this business school is not your regular B-school, it's very diverse. Every semester exchange students come and with them, they bring their culture and knowledge on diverse topics and this is what makes this college unique. There are students from more than 50 countries and the city also is very diverse. The sunshine here is good and the college is near the beach. Parties here are fun and you'll definitely enjoy being a student here. Faculty is good and we also have visiting faculty members here having expertise in their own subject matter so it's a good thing in disguise plus they focus on practical knowledge while keeping in view whatever is written in the books. I've studied finance here and I'll say that is good, I've learned a lot in the classroom and while working on projects and case studies related to global Fintech companies. So, if you are a B-student, this place is for you. Also, International student department here is very helpful, they'll help you out with documentation and never make you feel alienated at any point.
Likes (Internships): Internship opportunities here at MS are good. This college has a name here and this can help you with securing a good job here in France. The professors also help you with getting internships. It's one of the perks of studying in an institution that ranks amongst the top 12 institutions in France.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's exceptionally hard to get part time work here in France. To be honest, you need to have a good understanding of French and should be able to speak it fluently to get part time work here. So, make sure that if you are not proficient enough don't take part-time work in consideration of your total value of money that you'll be spending here but if you can find some part time jobs here like being a language tutor then you're lucky and you can take that. Also because there aren't many students aspiring to take those jobs.

Academically and cultural diverse business school.
Tips: There is a lot to consider with cultural aspect as city is beautiful and filled with many historically monuments along with celebrations during Christmas eve. There are scholarships available for early birds which should be utilized. Students can ask for help from administration and faculty members as all are very accommodative while giving extra slot times available for students who need extra guidance for curriculum or job related aspects as well. Course and everything else is worth the money invested.
Likes (Safety): City and school both are safe considering security and all helps available from administration. School being on outskirts of the city, needs transportation on frequent basis with average time from city centre to school of 30 minutes. There are many campus accommodation available as well. School located on outer region but with residential houses nearby with 1-3 kms with a walking distance of just 2 tram stop.
Dislikes (Internships): There are ample of guidance available for people who are seeking for internships along with many jobs and work fair to connect employers with students. Only drawback is to be fluent in language gets only clearance for most of the internships. Internships in France are majorly for people of marketing, fashion and AI based along with being very frequent offers to graduates. Also, for every other subjects, jobs and internships are available on broader level in Urban regions of France like Lyon, Nice, Paris etc.

Rewarding if you are willing to go an extra mile
Tips: France is altogether a different experience for any international student. As they completely have different cultures, social dialects, and food. It initially might be difficult for students to adjust but will be really rewarding if you go through this period. Please learn French to have an amazing time and get equal pay and job opportunities.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is very difficult for international students studying here in France to get good part-time job opportunities. As most employers prefer candidates who have the knowledge and speak fluent French language. The only job available for us is at restaurants, delivery agents etc.

Superb, friendly people and multi cultural students
Tips: I must recommend learning French language before coming. Do not expect high paid part-time jobs and skilled work. Overall people are good here. A big disadvantage is the local language is French. Academic studies are good, more into practical and assignments. For better jobs go to English friendly countries in EU.
Dislikes (Part time work): Language problem is there. There are not many international organizations, IT Offices and many things. Transportation and whether conditions are okay compared to Paris. Do not expect high paid part-time and full-time jobs in Montpellier. If you need a better job just look outside of France.

Beautiful campus with cultural diversity
Tips: If you are from English speaking country and you are not able to speak French then be ready for struggle. From a behavioural point of view I feel it is necessary to assess at every point in time. I am from a rural background and people usually judge in India but here I realised there is no need to judge people just live and let them live.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I have completed my schooling, Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D. and all are from different universities in India. But I never found such faculty on a personal as well professional level. They will not make you cram things but rather emphasise on understanding.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are two problems, one is the language French, if you know French then it is easy to get part-time job. If not then it is very hard. Even if you got a part time job then for M.Sc. course there is no provision for part-time job. However, I am not sure what is the average pay out.

The best aspect is the Public Transportation.
Tips: French people are very welcoming and even though there were cultural differences but I did not have any issues regarding it. There are multiple scholarships offered by French government such as housing allowance. These usually make up to 40% of your monthly rent. The university is very good and the courses offered here are very practical and up-to-date. However french language is very much necessary as English is rarely spoken and supported.
Likes (Public transportation): There are multiple transportation options. TAM and buses are the backbones. There are four Tam lines and many bus routes which cover the city very well. They are very systematic and are always on the time. The monthly pass costs about 28 euros per month also it will be free from 2024.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Very limited options in Indian food and very less to no options in vegetarian section. Also, availability of Indian food items for cooking yourself is from only one shop and that is also expensive. The local food options are somewhat affordable but near the college options are limited. The college has a very good canteen but it is slightly expensive.

Overall the college is good
Tips: Students must know that Montpellier Business School provides a lot of opportunities and services but you need to stay open-minded and grab them yourself. There are several problems in the curriculum that I feel. The school tries to teach too much in very less time and according to me, the curriculum is not very well designed rest it depends on one's skills.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is considerably good in the city. Well-networked and little problem is that buses stop working a bit early at night otherwise its good. The trams go well about everywhere and there are buses covering the streets of the city. Also, the transportation covers a little area outside the city like adjoining villages and cities.
Dislikes (Part time work): The ratio of students to jobs in the city is not good. There are too many students and very less jobs. And since it is a student city there are not many options for jobs. I think the students only do jobs when they really have to otherwise it is difficult to maintain having a part time with the studies in the city.

Learning French would help in Part-Time.
Tips: Learn French before coming here. The school environment is very welcoming and hospitable. But if you want to have part-time job then you need language. And for the internship, the school doesn't help at all. They have contacts and years of establishment but are not helpful in internships or jobs.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty members and professors are helpful and inclusive. They are very approachable and cordial. The departments were always helpful and would try their best to accommodate. If any doubt or questions arise they are always present. I was the class representative so collectively we had a voice.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time jobs are not that feasible as compared to other English speaking countries because of the language barrier. For part time jobs the requirement is French. Since most of the students don't meet the prerequisite of knowing the language, they are unable to find a part time job.

My college is triple accredited with really supportive staff.
Tips: I strongly recommend studying French language for better job opportunities and communication. Because most of them here don't know English. They always prefer French because it's one of the widely spoken languages like German and Spanish. Also, the city, is really expensive if you're planning to study here.
Likes (Student Life): The quality of living is awesome. I liked French people. All are really supportive people. And the public transportations and health care systems are really appreciative. Overall France is offering good quality of life and accommodation facilities.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's hard to get part time jobs in France especially for international students like us from India. All are hiring people who know the French language well. I strongly recommend people to learn french at least B2 level then you've a chance of a part-time opportunity with contract.

The path that ambitious people should definitely try in life.
Tips: French is necessary to survive in France and Montpellier is a student city so everyone and everything is simple and happy. It is all about adjusting to a new culture and new country. But people are very helpful and 3/4th population is made up of students.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is easy and cheap for students and is available throughout the week. And it is very safe. There are students always traveling and the people are helpful in case you do not understand the way. Also there are public cycles for those who choose a healthy lifestyle.
Dislikes (Part time work): For part time jobs usually French is the language that is mandatory. Finding a part time is not as easy because of the schedule of the school. Tips: French language is important for studying at any college in France. So better take the basics of french before coming here. Having knowledge in French language is really efficient to interact with natives cause most of them are not well in English.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculties are good at teaching and very experienced professionals in multiple domains. Also professors are really friendly and ready to resolve all basic doubts and willing to help the students at any time without any hesitation. Also, there teaching is subject-oriented.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's hard to get part-time jobs without French language proficiency for international students like us. Part-time jobs are not easily accessible in single portal. I recommend this personally to international students from India. So take basics of the language at least.

Tips: Be proactive and please learn French before coming here, it's very important for your survival. The college is good, teachers are good, and just sometimes administration is a little bad, but overall it's ok. Because everyone has some problem and the administration is not so well organized. They keep updating the schedule according to the timing and availability of the professors.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty are excellent, in fact they don't get enough time to explain everything deeply, but they try their best to teach you in the amount of time they get. What knowledge they possess, they try to transfer to students and are very helpful. They never say no to helping a student and they try their best to cope with students' need.
Dislikes (Part time work): If you do not speak French, then it is impossible for you to get a decent part time job. Your only option will be Indian restaurants and they have very exhausting work and don't pay you enough money. Eventually, this will affect your studies.

Making difference! It is the best line to describe MBS.
Tips: Language is one of the barriers here for getting a job. So students need to learn. The information about the course you want to do is important. It is better to learn basics before you join the university. It will give students confidence in that field and integrate their knowledge.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The content faculty provided to us is good. Their experience in the industry is enough to motivate me. They are always helpful and friendly to solve all the issues that students may have. Also, the teaching material they have is outstanding.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is no time for part-time work. The schedule is too busy. Classes are always from 9 am to 8 pm. But sometimes, the schedule is not that packed. Audencia Business School has a good learning and working environment.
Tips: Students preparing themselves for France should equip themselves with the ability to understand and speak the language French because without French anything here is tough to survive and hard to gel including part time jobs, full time jobs, etc. in France. Nantes is a safe place when compared to bigger cities like Paris in France. The people and the environment are more causal and safe regardless of who you are it may be men, women, children and International students. So far Nantes has been a safe side for me.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's hard to get a part-time job here at Nantes because of the language barrier and has no time left after regular classes after college. Since there are more international students, it's also slightly competitive in nature to obtain a part time job.

Tips: I recommend learning French, at least at a basic level, before coming to Audencia. The college expects you to know basic French even if you take courses taught in English. Scholarships are generous if you have good grades. While Audencia's curriculum may not be relevant to your chosen course, the networking opportunities are good.

A supportive and enriching global learning experience.
Tips: Students should be prepared for an academically intensive yet rewarding experience. Familiarity with French or a willingness to learn it can be beneficial, as it helps in daily life outside the classroom. Audencia does offer scholarships based on merit and need, which students can apply for during the admissions process. Most students feel highly satisfied with Audencia, as it offers a comprehensive, industry-oriented curriculum and plenty of networking opportunities.
Likes (Safety): I spend my day balancing classes, group projects, and personal study sessions. The curriculum is engaging, and group work often helps us learn collaboratively. Audencia organizes a range of events, such as cultural festivals, networking events, career fairs, and guest lectures from industry experts. We usually find these events valuable for networking and gaining insights into their field. There are many clubs in Audencia like sports club, finance club and many more.
Dislikes (Part time work): The faculty at ESC Clermont are very friendly and always willing to clarify doubts. They teach the material from the basics up, which makes it easy for all students to understand. Faculty members are approachable and encourage students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and seek guidance outside of class hours. The teaching approach emphasizes a mix of theoretical understanding and practical application through group projects, case studies, and simulations that allow students to analyze real-world scenarios and develop problem-solving skills. The diversity of the student body brings different perspectives into the classroom, which makes discussions more dynamic and inclusive.

Great college but there are no on-campus part time job opportunities.
Tips: The first cultural shock is that the people here are too easy with smoking in public places. I got overwhelmed and suffocated soo much because of that. Learn basic French. That helps a long way. I personally got a scholarship of 4500 Euros from the college. The courses may not be relevant for the most part, but the real thing lies in their academic resources. Students will be given access to major databases, states, productivity software, etc.
Likes (Safety): I felt very safe at Audencia Business School. All the accommodation buildings have access card controlled entry, and the streets are patrolled. The public transport system is excellent, with well-controlled departures and arrivals. The trams are so well connected to the airport and train station that when a batchmate lost his bag on a tram, the transport control room was able to locate it and return it to him within a few hours.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are no on-campus part-time job opportunities. However, you can volunteer for certain roles that provide access to a wider range of networking opportunities. The academics for the first year are a bit of a tight fit, and the schedule is not fixed. A good part-time job in Nantes will pay you an hourly wage of 8-9 Euros.

It's been an adventure worth remembering.
Tips: Audencia is a great school. The courses are challenging but interesting, and the professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. The campus is beautiful, and there are lots of student activities. If you're considering Audencia, be sure to check the brochure and course descriptions to get a good idea of what's offered and how it works.
Likes (Safety): Nantes is so far good in safety. Regardless of people, transportation, day or night, native or international, on or off campus, boys or girls etc. I haven't faced any issues regarding safety. People here are very friendly and respectful to everyone around.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are no on-campus jobs except for being a student ambassador. It is also difficult to find a part-time job in Nantes if you are not fluent in French. If you are lucky enough to find a job, you can manage your academics accordingly. The minimum wage in France is 9 Euros per hour, and the maximum is 12 Euros per hour.

Master in Management (Grande Ecole programme) - Batch of 2025

Limited part-time opportunities but great faculty.
Tips: Students should know French and basic management and apply for scholarships. Do research about the locality you choose to stay and the connectivity to the school, it can get pretty busy some days as school start at 8:15 many times too. There is a CROUS nearby for lunch which is great.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is great, lots of events and parties keep happening every day. There are lots of student associations that I recommend every international student should join. It's fun, you network, get to know people and make friends, hang out, party, etc.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's difficult to find part-time jobs especially when you don't know the language. People do find them but then it is difficult to manage it with school and all that's going around. Your sleep cycle can get disturbed and you might not get a lot of time to cook and eat healthy.

Good place to interact with other international students.
Tips: Learn French as fast as you can. Try to find the basic course structure and learn basics before you arrive. It's essential to learn French as quickly as possible. You should focus on the basic course structure and mastering the basics without delay like exceeding at ppt. Relax and try to approach and get into every student club as possible.

Wonderful learning experience. Lot of things to learn first time, international exposure.
Tips: Know French, make connections and be active on job search and research on subjects you are going to read, its good to connect with alumni from day one for guidance. Visit the city and know local language. There are less food options from India, so knowing cooking goes long way.
Likes (Public transportation): A lot of buses connected, students have lot of options. Connectivity by train bus or boasts. Very affordable too because students get free yearly pass to travel, even if you haven't got pass, you can buy one for 65 euros and roam around for a month, its convenient.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): You need to know French and have a full time job contact, subjects are rigorous at times but much different experience than India. You get permanent status after you get a full time job contact and know B2 level French, both are necessary for long term.

My experience at Audencia.
Tips: The Grand Ecole programme in which I've enrolled in is updated and demanded in day-to-day operations in many management role. The city is very student friendly in terms of cost of living, which is way cheaper than other major cities in France. Audencia is a great place to study any business related major.

My most memorable university - Audencia Business School
Tips: Audencia is a good business school with reputed faculty from across the world. Apply early to get an early bird scholarship. The crowd is friendly, multicultural and can have lots of fun. The campus is beautiful and easily accessible. Nantes is also a peaceful city, with very good transportation accessibility. French language could be a language barrier to work part-time. However, the career service from the college is very useful to get a job/ internship.

Learn French before coming
Tips: French is really important to get any type of job here. You may think it's doable but get certified before coming to France. Everyone at the college knows English but outside college, it may happen that people don't talk in English that much, mostly they talk in French.
Likes (Student Life): It's really good here. There are a lot of student clubs and organizations where students can gel up and have fun. The city offers a great deal! There are many places of interest for students like museums and galleries. Also, the nightlife in Nantes is great.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's difficult to get a part-time job initially and there aren't many jobs you can do. You need to be very focused, but the pay for part time jobs is more than anyone can ask for. It can get stressful sometimes but doing a part time job can really help out.

Fun, stressful, friendly and expensive
Tips: I strongly advise you to study French at the B2 level before coming here so that you will be able to communicate once you arrive. And also try to learn some basic excel and powerpoint skills which will be useful throughout the programme. Unless you can adequately explain your problems, try not to miss classes
Likes (Public transportation): The buses and trams are on time on weekdays. Nantes is a small city with excellent public transportation. Transportation is less expensive if you purchase a yearly pass. If you get yearly pass the first and the last month are free. You pay around 220 euros in total for the whole year.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The Indian restaurants in nantes are not so good and they're so expensive. The Indian spices are expensive and limited when compared to those in Paris. It's difficult to find vegetables for an Indian dish. There is only one Indian store to get the spices and it's so expensive.
