Tips: Living in NCSU has been an adventure in a lot of senses. Tips: What I have realised so far is that while the coursework here is challenging, it can also be rewarding. Tips: After spending a decent amount of time here, I can see that NCSU has made a significant amount of progress in promoting diversity and inclusion which is seen through the multicultural celebrations around campus and representation in the student body as well. Tips: You should try to have a positive outlook.
Do some research on the subjects that interest you.
Focus on statistics & probability. Get understanding of python programming language so as to understand the concepts which are being discussed in the class. Save some case studies on your own.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Professors have good knowledge in their area of expertise.
The office hours are really helpful to brainstorm ideas and come out with pointers that can be discussed from different point of view to solve a specific problem related to analytics domain.
Dislikes (Safety): Not safe after 9 PM. After 9 PM be cautious while roaming, prefer to be in groups.
Otherwise everything is okay & no need to worry about anything else.
Use marta to commute from community to college.
Commutation is not an issue.
Good connectivity.
