Full-Time MBA in Finance - Batch of 2024

Come to Houston, be a Texan. Excellent alumni network.
Tips: I have become a better well-rounded person and could hone my leadership skills. I do not have any scholarships here but I had received offers with scholarships in other universities. I am working as an RA for the dean. I am very happy with the university, course and country.
Likes (Post study jobs): The college has great connections and an excellent alumni network. People usually go into investment banking and consulting jobs. Also, a lot of people go to work in teach industry. Most of the students stay back in Houston, though some of them migrate to the East Cost West cost.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Houston is a very spread out city and it is not developed as a city which favors public transportation. The city expects people to have cars since it is the world's oil and gas capital. And of course, this is Texas, the biggest state in the US. There is a train (metro) which runs close to the college which a lot of students use for commuting.

A growing and refreshing experience.
Tips: It took me a lot of time to adapt to the learning curve here. The way we solve and think is different from India. I am satisfied and happy with the university and the course, I feel I got the money spent was worth it because of the network I built and learning from my peers and overall experience.
Likes (Part time work): I mostly spend studying at the library and working part-time. As the campus is very diverse you get to participate in various events related to their countries, like Latin festivals. I was a part of the Growing club and graduation games club which helped me pass the time and stay fit. I got to meet different kinds of people through this.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are very approachable and would be willing to help and provide additional resources if interested. I have experienced various kinds of teaching methodologies, some involved in class activity, group problem solving and many more. I feel the faculty come from different parts of the world so it is pretty diverse like the student ratio.

One of the best place for someone to study in and explore new place with different people.
Tips: They should know about the place like atleast have a basic knowledge. If someone of your relatives are staying then it's good and comfortable to know the place.Or I would suggest you to go with your friends in order to explore place and gain knowledge also enjoy while studying..
Likes (Safety): The safety is really high in this college because there is a high check being done in order to enter into campus. Its not that easy for an annonimous person to enter into the campus. So safety is high in campus that is the reason to rate high safety.
Dislikes (Internships): Yes they do provide internship but it's very less they focus on academics more than the other aspects of the college.Internship opportunities are comparatively less compared to the other colleges. Its a little community based college and people are influenced.
