Full-Time MBA in Finance - Batch of 2024

Come to Houston, be a Texan. Excellent alumni network.
Tips: I have become a better well-rounded person and could hone my leadership skills. I do not have any scholarships here but I had received offers with scholarships in other universities. I am working as an RA for the dean. I am very happy with the university, course and country.
Likes (Post study jobs): The college has great connections and an excellent alumni network. People usually go into investment banking and consulting jobs. Also, a lot of people go to work in teach industry. Most of the students stay back in Houston, though some of them migrate to the East Cost West cost.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Houston is a very spread out city and it is not developed as a city which favors public transportation. The city expects people to have cars since it is the world's oil and gas capital. And of course, this is Texas, the biggest state in the US. There is a train (metro) which runs close to the college which a lot of students use for commuting.

A growing and refreshing experience.
Tips: It took me a lot of time to adapt to the learning curve here. The way we solve and think is different from India. I am satisfied and happy with the university and the course, I feel I got the money spent was worth it because of the network I built and learning from my peers and overall experience.
Likes (Part time work): I mostly spend studying at the library and working part-time. As the campus is very diverse you get to participate in various events related to their countries, like Latin festivals. I was a part of the Growing club and graduation games club which helped me pass the time and stay fit. I got to meet different kinds of people through this.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are very approachable and would be willing to help and provide additional resources if interested. I have experienced various kinds of teaching methodologies, some involved in class activity, group problem solving and many more. I feel the faculty come from different parts of the world so it is pretty diverse like the student ratio.

University of South Carolina is very friendly and diverse.
Tips: USC has provided me with a lot of personal and professional growth and the campus has a very motivating atmosphere. The amount of diversity here is an advantage and the course curriculum is well structured, covering all the essentials. Keep up your classroom engagement and feel free to explore as much as you can don't hesitate to reach out to the faculty as they are very talented, friendly and helpful.

The university is good so take your time to explore.
Tips: My time here has been enriching both personally as well as academically as the university offers a lot of resources for its students, especially international students. The Indian Student Association is also particularly helpful and will help you feel a sense of familiarity as well. The faculty is very understanding, and helpful and has industry experience. There are lots of events, seminars and activities to participate in and build connections.

Great college environment with a fantastic student experience.
Tips: Studying here has been a great experience for me. The campus is diverse and accommodating and I have had the opportunity to engage with students from multiple backgrounds as well here. The academic programs are rigorous but the faculty and students are very supportive. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.

Better jobs and clean environment
Tips: I think students should learn to manage their time and schedule if they want to work part time as well as attend the college. The food situation is good on campus but they should always bring their own food just in case the food in college isn't available.
Likes (Part time work): There are a lot of jobs near the college which will help with a passive income. It's very easy to work part-time but on the other hand the college schedule is very tight so I have to manage the time accordingly. But, the jobs give a fare income which is very helpful.
Dislikes (Student Life): I gave it a low rating because sometimes there is just too much stress between your part time job and college work. Its hard to handle both of them at the same time, so I have to work my way according to time. The schedule is very tight and hard to manage at times.
