MS Engineering Data Science - Batch of 2025
4.1
Cultural warmth and academic triumph.
Tips: Upon arriving in the USA, I noticed a discernible cultural difference, although it hasn't been overwhelming. Adjusting to the new cultural nuances has been relatively smooth, and I find life here to be simple and easygoing. The people I've encountered have been remarkably kind, friendly and understanding, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The practice of greeting everyone adds a positive touch, making me feel more connected and at ease in this new environment. When it comes to scholarships I have availed of a state tuition waiver. I obtained it by working as an Instructional Assistant in one of the departments. This position not only provided valuable work experience but also granted me a scholarship. While the specific allowance may vary, the scholarship has been a significant financial support. I am extremely satisfied with the university, the course and the country. The university has provided a supportive enriching environment for academic growth.

MS Statistics and Data Science - Batch of 2022
3.2
Well facilitated college.
Tips: Coming to the US to pursue studies is a dream come true moment for most people. The college system in the US is slightly different than in India. You can get international student scholarships as well as assistantships if you look into the college job and scholarship portals. For some universities, you can also be eligible for an in-state tuition waiver which reduces your tuition fee to half.

MS in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2019
Offered by California State University Fullerton

A financial friendly option for every aspirant to fulfill his/her dreams
Tips: Prepare that your ultimate goal in United States is to excel professionally. Keep in my mind that most of you are going to come to States for graduate-level courses, and you will land a better job if the US market is favourable. So the majority of your success is dependent on your city and not your college.
Likes (Quality of faculty): A regular day in college start depending on you courses. At Masters level all your major classes will be scheduled during night time to accommodate all the part-time work that you will have in the morning. College has a good recreational area which is where I spent most of my days apart from academia.
Dislikes (Part time work): Faculty members are pretty much approachable and accessible. Also the teaching and methodology are helpful and guiding. University is pretty diverse in nature and serves as an opportunity to interact with multiple people of different ethnic backgrounds with a welcoming nature.
