- In addition to deepening general knowledge of physics in advanced experimental and theory courses, students can initially start with two special physics subjects. Currently, special subjects from three areas are offered in Greifswald: Plasma Physics, Atomic and Solid State Physics (Quantum Physics) and Soft Matter, Bio- and Environmental Physics, Medical Physics.
