  • In this interdisciplinary and research-oriented Master’s degree program, the university concentrates on conveying knowledge about the properties, production processes, and diverse possibilities of applying enzymes and microorganisms in the food industry
  • Students will learn biochemical methodological knowledge to purify and characterize enzymes, enzyme kinetics, immobilization of enzymes, and the expression and mutagenesis of recombinant enzymes. In addition, students will develop microbiological expertise in handling pathogens in food production
  • Students will acquire basic knowledge about the identification and extraction of enzymes and microorganisms in life science and related industries. This includes a comprehensive introduction to food microbiology, enzyme analysis, and their methods and research strategies
  • From the second semester, students plan their studies according to their individual interests and their desired specialization. Whatever individual orientation they choose for their studies, it is certain that they will be steadily introduced to independent research from the second semester onwards

Pocket friendly college with respect to the fee structure compared to other countries.
Tips: Learn the language if you would like to blend into the culture of Germany. Also, do your own research in your respected field of study. After finishing the compulsory modules, you can select the modules of the department in which you are interested.
Likes (Public transportation): Germany has a wide range of offers for public transportation. Including bus and trains where we can have a semester pass for a reduced price for being a student. And we can also use our student ID card which can be used as a pass from evening 6:00 to morning 6:00.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): After finishing the master's degree one needs to learn German. As Germany is more into the language so we need to know at least B2 level ofGerman language. Learning could be hard for many international students. Also, it is hard to learn at this point in time. But if we learn the language and have an international licence it would be great to find jobs.
