What is MEM – One of the most sought after courses to be pursued after Core Engineering by aspiring engineers, Masters of Engineering Management (MEM) is a program that is precisely designed to provide engineering graduates with the exposure required to bridge the gap between engineering, technology, and management. Pursuing this degree makes the engineering graduates eligible for higher management roles in an organization’s hierarchy.
Eligibility for Masters of Engineering Management (MEM)
A full-time MEM Programme from a reputed university would take candidates anywhere between 12 to 15 months to complete. This would include students having to complete academic projects and participate in internship programs. Part-time MEM programs are also available from universities for students who have time constraints, the duration for the same could last anywhere between three to nine months to complete. Candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering to be eligible to pursue their MEM. Students with knowledge of management and business laws would be given preference during the selection process. Candidates would be required to appear for an English proficiency exam depending upon the university requirements. English proficiency exams include PTE, IELTS, and TOEFL. A GMAT or a GRE test score is also mandatory for students looking to pursue MEM abroad.
