Nagoya University Undergraduate Admission Requirements

For admissions to the undergraduate courses at Nagoya University, applicants will have to fulfil any one of the following to be eligible for admissions:

• Complete a 12-year curriculum out of Japan or 
• Acquire an International Baccalaureate, the Abitur, the Baccalauréat, or the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level (A-Level), or,
• The applicant should have completed or is towards completing the 12-year curriculum course out of Japan. 

Apart from the above, the applicants will also have to submit the following documents:

• Academic performance in high school
• Standardized test scores of SAT or ACT (optional for submission)
• English language proficiency test scores of TOEFL or IELTS
• Essays 
• Letters of recommendation (LORs) 
• Performance in interview/oral examination if any

Applications will be selected based on the following:

• Outstanding work performance in a special project in fields related to academic subjects 
• Special talents, achievements, and awards
