- mathematical modeling
- probability theory (continuous and discrete random variables, central limit theorem, law of large numbers, convergence in distribution, moment generating functions, characteristic functions, conditional probability, common probability distributions (normal, binomial, exponent, uniform), joint probability distributions)
- mathematical analysis (real numbers, supremum, infimum, criteria and strict definitions of continuity, differentiability, convergence of sequences and power series, compactness on the real line)
