Study in US: Arizona State University, a public university in the US, has joined forces with Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), Chennai to increase academic and career opportunities for Indian students.

Arizona State University (ASU) has announced a partnership with the Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), Chennai to offer more career and academic opportunities for Indian students. The partnership will introduce various undergraduate and master's degrees across key disciplines including Engineering, Computer Science, and Business and Management.

While commenting on this partnership, ASU President Michael M. Crow said, “With India as our largest source of international students, this partnership with REC strengthens our mission to expand access to exceptional education and empower students with the skills needed to excel in a globalized workforce.”

“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in expanding REC’s academic offerings. Together with ASU, we are dedicated to empowering students with transformative experiences that combine academic excellence with real-world application. The new programs will integrate REC’s strong academic foundation with ASU’s globally recognized expertise,” said Abhay Meganathan, Vice Chairman, Rajalakshmi Institutions.








Rajalakshmi Engineering College has a 100-acre campus in Chennai. It achieves an outstanding 95% placement rate.

Arizona State University, Rajalakshmi Engineering College Partnership Details

India is the highest contributor of international students to Arizona State University with currently over 6,600 Indian students enrolled in this public university of the US. The alliance will offer students flexible academic pathways, help them in gaining a globally competitive education, and earn a degree which will help them immensely in shaping their international careers. They will develop the skills needed for a better future in their respective careers.







Following this collaboration, Rajalakshmi Engineering College will become an ASU-Cintana Alliance member. The alliance is a global network of universities across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Under this collaboration, REC will leverage ASU’s collaborative research opportunities and extensive resources.

“By combining our expertise with Cintana’s innovative strategies and on the ground execution capabilities, we empower universities to enhance academic quality and drive growth, addressing the increasing demand for world-class education. This collaboration marks a pivotal step in strengthening ASU’s global presence and amplifying its impact for Indian students,” added President Crow.
