Qatar University Invites Applications for UG Courses on Scholarship; Know Deadline, Eligibility
Qatar University has invited applications from international students to apply for undergraduate courses on scholarship.
Qatar University is currently accepting applications for undergraduate courses on scholarship. It is open to international students. The last date to apply for the scholarship is October 16, 2024.
To apply for the UG courses, interested candidates need to apply on the official website - qu.edu.qa. The candidates must apply for their intended college through the university's online admission application. Along with filling out the application form, the candidates must also upload a photocopy of a valid Qatar ID card and a passport-size photograph.

International students should also submit the required documents during the application filling process. All international students other than GCC citizens who are applying to study at her/his own expense should apply for a student visa and upload all the required documents.
"If the international student is planning to study at Qatar University only when he/she obtains a scholarship provided by Qatar University, he/she does not need to fill out and complete the visa application; the Scholarships and International Admissions Section will take the necessary procedures to issue a student visa for international students who receive a scholarship from QU," reads the official statement.
Qatar University Application Fee
The applicant must submit a QR 200 (non-refundable) application fee while applying to UG courses. The students can visit Qatar University on campus to get a card for online payment. Candidates can contact Qatar National Bank at 44407777 for more information on it.
Once the Admission Department receives your application, you will get a confirmation letter within 10 working days.
Qatar University UG Courses Eligibility Criteria
The main requirement is the candidates must have scored 95% or more marks in the qualifying examination. In some courses, they also need to fulfil the English and Mathematics requirements for the college. In the IELTS the candidates must have a score of more or equal to 5.5 and for TOEFL IBT should be greater or equal to 61, for Mathematics, the requirement is a minimum score of 24 in ACT Math, 550 in SAT (General Math Component - Old Version), and 570 in SAT (General Math Component - New version).
