Strathclyde Business School Offers Diamond Jubilee Scholarship For International Students

Strathclyde Business School Offers Diamond Jubilee Scholarship For International Students

University of Strathclyde Business School has announced the Diamond Jubilee scholarship for international self-funded students to support their studies. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is January 10, 2025.

University of Strathclyde Diamond Jubilee scholarship is worth between £7000 and £8000. It is awarded after the applicants receive the offer of study at the university and it will reflected in a confirmation email. There is no need to apply separately for this scholarship, it will be granted automatically to the eligible candidates. Diamond Jubilee Scholarship will be applied towards the tuition fees to help the students in paying less amount as a fee.

“Please note, the offer of this scholarship is conditional upon fulfilling any academic and administrative conditions of admission to the University, as outlined in  the  formal programme offer letter. This University of Strathclyde Diamond Jubilee scholarship is only available to self-funded international applicants and cannot be combined with any other University of Strathclyde scholarships,” reads the official statement of the Strathclyde Business School.

Eligibility Criteria For Diamond Jubilee Scholarship

The following are the eligibility criteria for the Diamond Jubilee Scholarship:

  • The students must have enrolled in the following subjects at the Strathclyde Business School – Business, Marketing, Management Science, Management, Accounting and Finance and Data Analytics.
  • The applicants must be self-funded and must have secured an offer of SBS MSc programme for the January 2025 intake.
  • With regards to fee status, they need to be deemed international.
  • Any student at the University of Strathclyde is eligible for only one scholarship per academic year.
  • Students of online and blended programs are not eligible for scholarships.

SBS Academics To Play Key Role In Supporting Transition To Net Zero

The academics at the SBS are all set to play a crucial role in the £5.5 million centre - ReMake Value Retention Centre (RVRC). This centre is located within the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS). Under the partnership with the University of Sheffield and the University of Exeter, the University of Strathclyde operates the NMIS.








Dr Euan Barlow, Professor Matthew Revie, and Professor Lesley Walls from the Department of Management Science will be leading the research.

Professor Walls said, “This is an exciting interdisciplinary project where SBS academics will create novel frameworks to support evidence-based ReMake decisions to develop substantial impact with high value manufacturing organisations and drive sustainability by shaping value retention strategies across the sector.”







Professor Sir Jim McDonald, Principal & Vice-Chancellor of the University Strathclyde, commented, "The establishment of the ReMake Value Retention Centre is a significant milestone for the UK’s journey to net zero. This centre will bring critical circular economy practices to the forefront of manufacturing, helping to reduce waste, cut emissions, and create sustainable, high-value jobs across Scotland and the UK.
