Study In US: UNC Kenan-Flagler Launches Master of Science in Management Program

UNC Kenan-Flagler is a top US business school which consistently ranks as one of the best business schools in the world. The business school offers undergraduate business programs, MBA programs, PhD programs, master of accounting programs, and UNC Executive Development programs.

The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School has announced the launch of the Master of Science in Management, a new graduate degree program. The classes are expected to commence from August 18, 2025.

While commenting on this, Courtney Knoll, associate dean of the new program and the Master of Accounting Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler said, “We are offering the Master of Science in Management Program to prepare recent college graduates to launch business careers. It strengthens our graduate degree offerings for recent college graduates who want to pursue business careers and will prepare them to compete more effectively in the job market.”

It is a 10-month duration program designed for recent college graduates who have never studied business. The new program will equip students with practical business skills, hands-on experiences and essential business knowledge. The curriculum covers key business disciplines including finance, accounting, analytics, marketing, strategy, economics, operations, leadership, and business communication. The students can choose to either focus on marketing or finance to deepen their expertise. The students will sharpen their problem-solving skills, teamwork, and leadership skills.

The students will get the opportunity to work on consulting projects with leaders from top organizations and companies. Under the mentorship of these leaders, they will learn about finding actionable solutions to real business challenges.

The tuition fee for out-of-state residents is $53,260 and for in-state residents, it is $46,923 for the academic year 2025-2026.

"The program start date and costs are pending final approval from the University of North Carolina System and Board of Governors at UNC-Chapel Hill," reads the statement of the UNC Kenan-Flagler.

The students will get guidance in making a successful business career with help from the career services team which will help them sharpen their interview skills, refine their resumes, and connect with employers in industries ranging from healthcare, corporate, and tech to nonprofits. They will also be interacting with the UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni network which has more than 51,000 alumni in 50 states and 97 countries.
