University Of Birmingham UK Offers 125th Anniversary Scholarships For International Students
Study In UK: University of Birmingham has announced 125th Anniversary Scholarships for International Students which is worth up to £5,000 for students from India.
For scholarships worth £4,000, there is no separate application form for eligible students, this amount will automatically be deducted from their tuition fees. However, for Indian students, they need to submit a separate application for the India Chancellor's Scholarship. The application for the Indian students will be open soon and students will be selected from the pool of students shortlisted through the India Chancellor's Scholarship applications. The Indian students will be chosen based on their academic merits for the 125th Anniversary Scholarships.
"Once you receive an offer, you must meet the deadlines outlined by the Admissions Office (as stated in your offer letter) to accept the offer and pay the required deposit. This will secure both your place in the Masters programme and the scholarship," reads the statement of the University Of Birmingham.
Eligibility Criteria For 125th Anniversary Scholarships
Following are the eligibility criteria the students must meet:
- For scholarships up to £5,000, the students should be domiciled in India.
- The students must have an offer to study in a taught Masters degree from the university for the academic year 2025/26.
- The applicants' courses must start in September or October 2025 and it should be a full-time programme.
- The students should be classified as international students for tuition fee payment.
Exclusion To 125th Anniversary Scholarships
- If one defers the course commencement date to September 2026, they will not be eligible for this scholarship.
- Students enrolled in the distance learning courses at the University of Birmingham will not be eligible.
- The programmes which are not eligible for the 125th Anniversary Scholarships are MBA, PGDip and PGCert programmes, MRes, MMus, PhD, MPhil, and MLit. Undergraduate courses including MPharm, MSci, MEng, and MBChB, are not eligible.
- Students of the University of Birmingham Dubai campus are also not eligible.
