University Of Southampton To Host British Science Festival In 2026

The University of Southampton and the British Science Association have announced that British Science Festival for 2026 will take place at the University Of Southampton. It will be held for five days from September 16 and 20, 2026.
The event will feature around 100 free exhibitions, events, performances and installations that celebrate the stories, ideas and people at the heart of science.
Hannah Russell, Chief Executive of the British Science Association, said, “We’re delighted to be bringing the British Science Festival to Southampton in September 2026. The city has a long-established connection to engineering, discovery and endeavour, making it a perfect place to host our annual Festival. It is a great privilege for the BSA to be working alongside our partners at the University of Southampton on this event, given the institution’s outstanding reputation for cutting edge research and innovation, and I feel confident that together we will develop an events programme you won’t want to miss.”

More Details On Southampton Hosting British Science Festival In 2026
British Science Association is all set to bring its flagship event to Southampton city for the first time since 1992. It is working in collaboration with the University Of Southampton and celebrating the 195th anniversary of the Festival.
The event will be especially for students over 16 years of age who are interested and passionate about the science subject.
