- Applicants should have a a bachelor´s degree in Linquistics or equivalent. You must hold a minimum of 80 ECTS in relevant linguistics courses, including general syntax, semantics, phonology and morphology, as well as programming and statistics for language studies.
- In addition it is recommended that students have at least 60 ECTS from language studies in their bachelor's degree, and that students have sufficient knowledge in Norwegian or English and one other language to allow the study of examples and data in these languages.
- Degree must be issued by an officially recognised and accredited university.
