Eligibility Criteria for Masters in Surgery in Australia 

Student visa holders are not permitted to study for a Masters in Surgery in Australia after MBBS. Those who complete their MBBS from either Australian institutions or from New Zealand are permitted to pursue their master's or doctoral programs in medical fields after their MBBS. Some of the common requirements include -  

  • Students must have completed an approved medical degree of at least two years with a minimum H2A average or above. 
  • At least two years of experience as a medical officer in a hospital for teaching experience.
