Please elaborate on your profile. 

Prathmesh: I hail from Mumbai and pursued my BE in Information Technology from Mumbai University and passed out in the year 2019. I pursued various freelancing and internship projects and finally got placed in a software company called GEP and worked there for 2 years. I appeared for IELTS and scored 7.5 in it. Colleges I applied to include - Trinity College DublinUniversity College Dublin, and Dublin City University. At present, I am pursuing my master's in Artificial Intelligence from Dublin City University.  

What made you choose to study abroad? 

P: A lot of factors influenced my decision of studying abroad. One of them is a practical approach to teaching which involves self-exploration and a lot of research. Secondly, studying abroad opens up a wide range of opportunities for an individual which is essential for one’s personal and professional development.

Which course and country did you choose and why? 

P: I chose to pursue my Masters in Artificial Intelligence because I like analyzing data. It is believed that data is going to be the next form of a black hole. I chose to study in Dublin, Ireland because Dublin is home to European’s Fortune 500 organizations, thus a number of opportunities are available here for students who have a background in data-related fields. How did you begin with your application process for studying abroad? 

P: As soon as I decided to study in Ireland, I began researching Ireland Universities and the various Master's courses they offered to international students. I concluded on the university I wanted to go to and decided upon my course keeping in mind the consequent entry requirements. But since I wanted some professional help, I got an opportunity to connect with the Shiksha study abroad counselling team.  







How did you come across Shiksha study abroad counselling? How was your overall experience? 

P: I got to know about Shiksha Overseas Counselling through a friend and signed up for it. Since I signed up on Shiksha’s website for counselling I have been in constant touch with my counsellor throughout my admission process.
