Ulyanovsk State University is good for balancing between studies and extracurriculars.
Tips: Students should know that studying at this university is not easy, but it is not that difficult either. However, the winters are very cold, with temperatures reaching -30 degrees Celsius. So, be prepared for that and bring a good quality jacket. Public transportation is very slow and unreliable. Sometimes I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for a bus or train. I really need a car, but the rules are very strict, and taxis are too expensive. For a 3-kilometer ride, the fare is more than 250 ruble...
