Scholarship Overview

Competitive Entrance Bursaries is applicable to only Bachelors Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. Amount offered for this Competitive Entrance Bursaries depends upon the university. This is a one time scholarship. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship Varies depending upon the university each year. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

Eligibility

Students will be considered automatically for a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship if you are:

• a current high school (secondary) student who plans to come to USask after you graduate, or
• a student who has already graduated from high school (secondary) but has little or no previous post-secondary education (less than 18 transferable credit units)
• Bursaries are awarded based on financial need and may consider academic achievement, school/community activities, leadership or other criteria.

• IELTS- overall score 6.5 with minimum 6.0 in each component
• TOEFL- overall score 86 with minimum score 19 in each section 
• PTE- overall score 63 with minimum section 59
