Scholarship Overview

Eindhoven University of Technology offers the Eindhoven University of Technology - Holland Scholarship. This one time scholarship offered by the International Students Office of Eindhoven University of Technology awards scholarships to degree-seeking students who have specified financial needs. Note that a large portion of the scholarship funds come from International student tuition. Eindhoven University of Technology - Holland Scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree. Eligibility

• A Master's program applicant should have a (minimum) 4 year Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or its affiliated college. Accreditation should be by NAAC, AICTE, or the institute should be on the list of Institutes of National Importance. 
• A CGPA of at least 8.5 on a 1-10 scale. If your university does not award a CGPA your average mark should be 75%.
• Specific knowledge and understanding in science disciplines, obtained within a mechanical engineering context or related. The expertise of the candidate will be assessed in the following topics:
  • Mathematics Fundamentals, Calculus (including differentiation, integration, differential equations, vector calculus), Linear Algebra
  • Dynamics, Signals, Systems, and Control (including signal processing, modeling, identification, control design and system integration)
  • Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena (including first, second law, gas law, entropy, thermal cycles, convection, conduction, radiation, diffusion)
  •  Fluid and Solid Mechanics, Mechanical Properties (including Navier-Stokes equation, Bernoulli’s law, conservation laws, kinematics, equilibrium conditions, strain, stress, elasticity, FEM, boundary conditions)
  • Construction and Design (including design principles and solutions, dynamic and thermo-mechanical behavior, compensation mechanisms).
• English Language Proficiency: 
• TOEFL- 90 with minimum score 21 in each section
• IELTS- 6.5 with minimum score 6.0 in each section
