A. Golden Gate University is located in downtown San Francisco. The university is located within 200 meters from companies such as Salesforce, Linkedin, KPMG, EY, etc. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for international students to connect with their classmates, especially in searching for an internship. The general starting salary for the entire GGU is around $65000.

Most graduate programs in the US is designed to be a 2-year program. In order to qualify for OPT, candidates would be required to stay as an F1 student for at least 1 year. Therefore, short-term programs less than a year would not qualify you for OPT.
