Exams Needed for Australian University Admissions
A lot of universities would expect candidates to have scores for English eligibility tests or GRE/GMAT scores as part of the application process. For instance, while the IELTS cut-off score for regular degree programs is 6.5, the university might require a higher IELTS Score of 7.0 – 7.5 for courses in engineering and so on. This would vary and a good place to confirm the scores would be at the university’s English Level Requirements.
The same goes for the GMAT scores. It is important to remember the application process for the UG and PG courses in Australia is more inclusive and while the scores are important, there are many factors that would add to your admissions. Also, while most undergraduate courses would ideally require English language proficiency, for postgraduate courses, the GMAT or GRE might be required. An average GRE Score is not shared as it might vary widely for different courses across different universities.
