On this Master of Science degree in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), you will develop advanced skills across complex and core topics in service, industrial and social robotics. You will study the latest cutting-edge advancements in the field – such as machine learning techniques, robotics vision & speech, and 3D modelling. You will then apply your knowledge to the design and development of sophisticated autonomous intelligent apps, 3D designs and physical robotics systems.
The MSc in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is closely integrated with the EUREKA Robotics Centre – one of only 11 specialist centres in the UK, and the only Centre in Wales with a unique focus in social and service robotics (profiled by the International Trade Department, UK Government, p. 11).
The EUREKA Robotics Centre is also the only University centre in Wales on the KTN Robotics & AI Innovation Network Map for “Specific Capabilities & Technologies”. Students have the opportunity of undertaking an internship at the Centre or partners organisations to gain robotics and AI industrial or research experience.
The programme is aiming for Chartered IT Professional Accreditation (CITP) by The Chartered Institute of IT (BCS), for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional in the UK. It is also seeking to meet the further learning requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) registration.
The Engineering Council sets the overall requirements for the Accreditation of Higher Education Programmes (AHEP) in engineering, in line with the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC).

It has been a great journey so far and I will recommend it to everyone.

Tips: It is the best university in the budget. Everything is on track, the staff is very supportive. It depends on the course though. This university is very good for technical courses like Engineering etc so yeah if you want that then come. Apart from that business courses are really good as well.

Likes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself but there are lots of food options available, but i will suggest eating at home as the food outside costs a lot of money. So come prepared from home and learn some dishes from youtube and your family as well. Eat clean and healthy.

Dislikes (Public transportation): There is guidance available. The career team is really good and you can book 1 on 1 sessions with the career team as well. But you need to be talented and have good command on the language and actively look for jobs and work hard. If you are in the UK for labour work then that is a different issue you can go to any random university then.

Tips: I think students will not face any cultural shift and discrimination. Personally, I didn't experience much difference in cultural things and food varieties as well. I haven't got any scholarship over here but students can apply. I am very satisfied with my university and with the faculty members as well. They are highly qualified and kind.

Dislikes (Public transportation): I myself live near the campus, so for me, it's not so far to travel to the university. But the campus is very beautiful and cheerful. Public transportation is also very good and not so expensive. In fact, the campus is very well connected to the rest part of the main city. It's so big and beautiful.

Tips: Before coming here be prepared to book accommodation, buy clothes and food to be safe for two months without spending much outside. Please be careful while coming into this University and feel safe here as you will get a lot of help and support from University office.

Likes (Safety): Student life is best as you will get everything here. You will make new friends plus will enjoy Cardiff. Cardiff student life is best you will get lots of discounts as a student, even vouchers to spend and save money. You will find beaches to enjoy one of them is Barry Island and the other is Cardiff bay.

Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Faculty members are very helpful, supportive and will solve your problems if you are stuck anywhere. Based on your course, faculty are very good at teaching. Please see the courses you want to enroll at this University. And marking criteria is best for this University.
