- Applicants will usually possess a health-related Honours degree (at a 2:2 level or at least 60%) or be able to demonstrate evidence of equivalent experience in health care practice or research.
- Students from non-health backgrounds who have Honours degrees (as above) in science, social science or humanities subjects and who are interested in a public health related career will also be considered for the programme.
- For India:
- For State and Central Universities university would look for a minimum of 60% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree.
- For Private and Deemed Universities university would look for a minimum of 65% for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree.
- University understand that the marking system in some states and national universities make it harder to achieve 60%, therefore university will accept 55% from the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc. among others.
- Graduates from the IITs and IIMs will also be considered with marks in the region of 55%.
