Happy and grateful to be a scholar
Tips: Students may feel a cultural shift, but it gets easier as time passes. You will be proud of yourself for navigating multiple cultures. I am a St Leonard's Global Leadership scholar (75% tuition fee waiver + employability allowance of 2000 GBP). It is a university need plus merit scholarship. Check out the website. I am fairly satisfied with my course, university and the country. Certain pedagogical and curricular elements do have scope for improvement though.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is well-connected with buses and trains. The student pass makes travel cheap. The bus service is also good with frequent buses to the campus even if you live in nearby areas like Leuchars and Dundee. There is good connectivity to Edinburgh as well.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The growing visa restrictions and a possible review of graduate visas could mean a difficulty in post-study jobs. I am not aware of companies that sponsor visas for TESOL-related jobs in the UK. Please research well if you are coming from a perspective of settling in the UK.

Diverse campus to learn and grow.
Tips: It is a research-oriented university. More suitable for those looking to venture into academic fields. If looking for business courses, keep in mind that you do not get the opportunity to do summer internships. You would be required to submit a thesis at the end. It is one of the most internationally diverse universities.
