What are the eligibility requirements?

- Candidates applying must be 17 years old on or before the 31st of December of the year they are applying in. Candidates must not be above 25 years.
- Applicant must clear the NEET exam
- Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their higher secondary as their elective subject
- Candidates must have English as a compulsory subject in their school and must have acquired passing marks in it
- It is compulsory to score at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined

When do the admissions start?
Applications for admission are accepted from March till November. The classes generally start in September, but the first-year students can join the classes from mid-November. Students joining after that can only join in Preparatory courses. The Premedical Course is opened all around the year and can be taken by students at any time.

What are the steps to the application process?
The admission process starts after you receive the Invitation letter from the month of February. Given below are the steps to be followed for taking admission to Kharkiv National Medical University:
- For any student, a mail to the university's admission department needs to be sent, including your Secondary and Higher Secondary School completion Certificate, at info@ksmu.kharkov.ua. As an international student, you need to send your International Passport and Birth Certificate.
- The following documents must be sent in the mail or can be sent by fax to receive an invitation letter. This all needs to be sent for the evaluation of the candidate’s eligibility.
- Filled in the application form
- Copy of international passport
- Secondary and Higher Secondary School completion Certificate
- Transfer certificate from previously attendant school
- If a candidate is eligible, he/she will receive an admission confirmation letter and other enrolment details.
- Soon after receiving an admission confirmation letter, students must apply for an Invitation Letter. It will be delivered to the candidate's home address, which will be required to get the student's Visa at the Embassy of Ukraine. The Invitation Letter is issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
- Students need to pay their first academic year fees for further process.
- Students can apply for their passport and student Visa with the original receipt of the admission fees and the Invitation letter.
- Students need to confirm their flight details with the university.

Yes, a student can work while studying, though there is a limitation in working hours for both national and international students. The working hours of students should not exceed 40 hours per week.

How many colleges and campuses does the university have?
Kharkiv National Medical University has one main campus with a complex building with six hostels. Situated in the second largest city of Ukraine, Kharkiv, it is well connected with other parts of the country.
The University campus has a total of 65 departments equipped with modern tools giving the opportunity to have a high-quality learning experience for the students.
Kharkiv is an industrial hotspot, but besides that, it is also known as the country's biggest educational hub. More than 300,000 students reside in the city, of which around 12,000 are international students.
Is on-campus housing available? How much does it cost?
Kharkiv National Medical University provides accommodation to all national and international students. There are six hostels inside the campus of the university. Every graduate and postgraduate student is provided with the option to live in hostel rooms, especially the international students.
Type of Accommodation
There are different type of rooms made available on the campus separately and on a single, double, and triple sharing basis. Students are provided with all the required luxurious facilities. There is also a common kitchen and laundry place equipped with washing machines in the hostel.
The rooms available are furnished with bed, blanker, WIFI, blankets, table, chair, water heater and cupboard. These hostel rooms are kept clean to maintain the hygiene of the students.
Cost of Accommodation
