The James Madison University (JMU) has been adjudged Virginia’s Best College for Getting a Job for the second consecutive year. Postgraduate employment at JMU is the highest among all Virginia colleges and educational institutions. Students’ critical skill development, creation of reasoning ability, ethics, team cooperation and polished communication have led to a good success rate and career outcomes.
Career outcome at both the undergraduate level and advanced degree level has been great, with 88.7% of bachelor’s students and 95.1% of students with advanced degrees obtaining the same. At the bachelor’s level, 60.8% got work, 27% were pursuing further studies and 11% were still looking for jobs or planning further education. Similarly, at the advanced degree level, 91.4% had a job, 3.6% were into further studies and 4.6% were still looking for a job.
