Tips: Adapting to a cultural and academic environment was both challenging and enriching. I didn't avail of any scholarship as it's very difficult to get for international students for some courses. I am very satisfied with the course and the country although I found Northeastern a bit expensive than other universities.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is very well connected to the rest of the city via public transportation. There are trains, buses and bikes available at very low prices. We have both bus and train stops at...

Tips: The people are friendly and helpful, and the academics are excellent. However, there are no scholarships, so tuition assistance is not guaranteed. There are lots of networking events, which I find very helpful. I'm pretty satisfied with my experience here, and I hope the job market improves soon so that students can find jobs more easily.

Tips: I am very satisfied with my course. No scholarships are available because this is a privately owned university. Food of course is a bit different but it is okay. You need to watch your eating habits when you are hear as I started eating junk food a lot more and exercising very less. I stopped eating healthy food and sometimes I even skip meals because of laziness. So students coming here should take care of this.
Likes (Safety): Boston ia very safe. Very safe public transportation. People are friendly. Neighbors...

Tips: Before joining, know that scholarships for international students are limited and focus on co-op opportunities. The transition was smooth, though adjusting to the U.S. culture took time, especially in the diverse academic and social environment. There are no scholarships, but the co-op programme is great for gaining industry experience. Very satisfied with the course, university, and Boston's hub for Biotech opportunities.

Tips: The environment here is contagious as you will meet all sorts of people from all sorts of backgrounds, countries and experiences who contribute to the campus culture offered here. My major has been challenging and has had significantly challenging material but the professors are incredibly helpful which makes it a little easier. Finally, I would say that the public transport and the city planning stand out and have made things a lot simpler to navigate for students.

Tips: There is no scope of anyone getting a scholarship at Northeastern. The course work is good as in we get a lot of options in the form of electives but there are still lots of downsides like the rent for accommodation is way higher than the average. As the intake is pretty high the competition is also fierce.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is located in the main city and has 2 subway lies passing through it, many bus connections are available as well. All the means of transport are affordable and it is very easy and ...

Tips: The campus life here is very happening but the classes can be extremely rigorous, hence, finding the right balance between the two is what will determine your college life. There is a lot of diversity and focus on culture which makes the transition easier and there are a number of academic tools that are helpful as well such as peer tutoring and office hours with the professors which can really make a difference academically. The faculty are very understanding and you can approach them freely. I...

Tips: I like the faculty and study environment here. Life and studies here are very different from what we have lived and studied in India. We have a good campus with all the requirements needed. We have a huge library in our university with all the required resources to work on assignments and exams. I'm very much satisfied with my university and its co-op programme.

Tips: There are a lot of students from a varied range of courses so be ready to put in extra effort and always be on your feet. The cost of living in Boston is quite expensive as compared to other cities so budgeting is extremely important. Overall, it'll definitely be a good and life changing experience.

Tips: I didn’t experience anything new as there are too many Indians. I have not availed of any scholarships either. It’s very tough to be in the eye of professors as there are way too many students to compete with. I am not that satisfied with the University's facilities.
Likes (Indian Food): Chipotle - 11$, El Jefe- 11$, Pizza - 2$ a slice, Fries - 3$ in the University. For Starbucks, there are schemes on weekdays in the University. Apart from this we have a Postmates app and Door dash too from where we can order food....

Tips: 1. The cultural fit is not challenging as all the students and most of the faculty for Masters are Indians. 2. As far as I know there are no scholarships. 3. Selecting courses and faculty and planning your day and semester is very crucial. Assignments while being heavy can be very beneficial if done independently.

Tips: Getting internships and jobs should be the top priority. Apply and study right from the first semester. Many Indian stores are available so no need to get a lot of stuff. The railway transportation system is very good and efficient. There are no scholarships given to students.

Tips: It is a great university for research. Northeastern invests a hefty amount in such domains. Tips: I am satisfied with the university and course. There are 2 co-op chances for bioinformatics and Biotechnology students, the 2nd being mandatory for graduation. But be prepared to dedicate the majority of your time job hunting and on assignments. A major cultural shift would be the food habit. As students juggling multiple on-campus jobs and studies, most of us do not find the time to cook a healthy meal and fall into a bad eating habit by eating too much frozen and processed foods.

Tips: This place is very expensive also the university, you will need to prepare yourself before taking up any course. You need subject background else it would be a struggle. Since the place is expensive you need to find part-time work. There are some professors who are really good.

Tips: Not everyone gets a Co-op, it takes a lot of hard work, skill and also luck to secure one. It was an easy transition for me since everyone is mostly Indian in the graduate cohort. The university should be stricter with the admission policies as without it there is a major influx of students and a shortage of on-campus jobs.
