Tips: Northeastern has a lot of Indian and Chinese students in their master courses. The university has some or other events going on every day. Finding a part-time on campus is a bit tough due to the high competition. Boston has a lot of students and overall is a good city but everything here is on the expensive side.
Likes (Safety): The campus has its own police force and a committee called OSSCR that looks into the safety of the students. Also, there is a transportation service that Northeastern provides for stude...

Tips: Students should try applying in the first cycle of admission to get a good chance at getting a scholarship. Northeastern has a strong presence of the Indian community so the environment feels inclusive with different events happening throughout the year. Tips: Coming to Northeastern, I realised making connections from the start is important to get a job or to know about work-related things. Here I saw less diversity majorly graduate courses have Indians. Northeastern does not provide scholarships. I have not experienced a big cultural shift coming here as majorly my course has Indians. I liked the location of the university. It’s very convenient for commuting. The campus is also good, with recreational activities and few clubs.

Tips: Boston offers vocational advantages to a lot of job seekers, depending on the job profile and role. Northeastern University has a really good course work and provides experiential learning in the form of 360 huntington found which is a $1.5 M found managed by students. It is a plus point to students coming for MS in Finance. The market is pretty dried up right now for everyone so I can't really comment on post-study work opportunities but I am optimistic about market conditions.

Plus there are lots of cultural events held on campus that keep the students engaged and make it easier for them to transition. I did not avail of any scholarship. Tips: Living expenses in Boston are high, but the people here are very friendly. The campus is situated in the center of the city with super friendly and helpful staff.
