Established in the year 1965, Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is a multi-campus university in Annandale, 14 miles south of Washington DC. This single campus itself has 15 buildings. The university is accredited under Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The other campuses are in Alexandria, Loudoun, Manassas, Springfield and Woodbridge. NOVA is noted for providing and imparting top-notch quality education at an affordable cost. Not only that, but the college also has financial stability programme.
In the academic sector, NOVA provides both traditional and non-traditional candidates with a variety of online courses, hybrid learning options. The choice of subjects is among more than 130 degree and certificate programmes. Each of the NOVA campuses is uniquely designed and equipped with a number of services to help its students in education, career and personal development. Types of Counselling and Advising Services are provided along with Career Development Services and Disability Services.
