- The LLM in US Law can be either for General Studies or with specialization in Intellectual Property, International and Comparative Law, or Human Rights Law:
- Applicants who have a degree in law from an institution outside of the United States that is accredited by the appropriate authority in that country
- Applicant must have completed or is in the process of completing their primary degree in law (for most applicants, this is a Bachelor in Law degree or its equivalent)
- Additionally, applicants must have either:
- Graduated in the upper one half of their law-school class, or
- Demonstrated above average or superior academic performance, or, alternatively, work experience, post-graduate education, or standardized test, which demonstrate the ability to undertake advanced legal studies

My college experience has been a great one. The faculty are nice and always ready to help.
Tips: Since I live and commute from outside off campus, the traffic and time can be a bit overwhelming. It does make me feel like I am missing out on a lot going on on campus. To compensate, I have joined some of the clubs that help me feel involved and engaged. Engage with your peers and enrol in outside-of-classroom programs to experience true learning.

Try to build and maintain connections.
Tips: I have seen a lot of change and growth in myself after coming here. If you have the time, take a college tour and make it a point to engage with your mentors and fellow classmates. Most importantly, the alumni association is extremely strong and you are sure to land good opportunities from this. There are plenty of events, seminars and activities held on campus so make sure to participate in it and build connections.
