Applicants are asked to submit a 750-word personal statement explaining why they are applying to this JST program. Please indicate the area of concentration for the degree and address the following questions:
- How does your prior academic and/or ministry work prepare you for this program?
- What are your plans after you earn your degree and why will a degree from JST specifically help you toward achieving these aspirations?

My college experience has been a great one. The faculty are nice and always ready to help.

Tips: Since I live and commute from outside off campus, the traffic and time can be a bit overwhelming. It does make me feel like I am missing out on a lot going on on campus. To compensate, I have joined some of the clubs that help me feel involved and engaged. Engage with your peers and enrol in outside-of-classroom programs to experience true learning.

Try to build and maintain connections.

Tips: I have seen a lot of change and growth in myself after coming here. If you have the time, take a college tour and make it a point to engage with your mentors and fellow classmates. Most importantly, the alumni association is extremely strong and you are sure to land good opportunities from this. There are plenty of events, seminars and activities held on campus so make sure to participate in it and build connections.
