• A strong mathematics background (including calculus and probability) is essential for academic success in this program.

• Current and prospective Temple students most qualified to pursue a Master of Science in Actuarial Science typically hold a bachelor’s degree in the following areas.

    • Statistical science and data analysis
•  A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is ordinarily required for admissions consideration

India

• 4-6 year bachelor’s degree
• 3-year bachelor’s degree* followed by a 2 year master’s degree OR postgraduate diploma

*On a case by case basis, Temple University will consider students with a 3-year bachelor’s degree if they meet the following criteria as established by the World Education Service (WES):

• Degree earned in Division I
• The institution is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A or better
