- In support of this mission, the chemical program prepares students to
achieve success utilizing the Chemical Engineering degree in the pursuit of both professional and intellectual growth and development,
demonstrate professional competence through continuing education and/or advanced degrees, and
be effective and positively contributing members within their professional, local, and global societies. - In support of the program education objectives, each chemical engineering graduate from UTC will have demonstrated prior to graduation:
An ability to identify, formulate and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics
An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental and economic factors

- First-time freshmen must meet unit requirements with completed high school courses:

- 2 units of the same foreign language (Sign Language courses included)
