- An official college or university transcript showing credit for a college-level Calculus I (or higher) course with a grade of C or higher
- An official high school transcript showing credit for a Calculus I (or higher) course with a grade of C or higher
- An official high school transcript showing credit for a Precalculus course with a grade of C or higher
- Five years or more of high school math courses at or above the level of Algebra I
- Students who apply to The University of Texas at Austin for fall 2021 undergraduate admission will not be required to submit an ACT or SAT test score as part of their application
- This change will allow the university to better serve potential students by ensuring that testing limitations related to COVID-19 do not affect a student’s ability to apply
- This temporary suspension means that for fall 2021 admission, a test score will not be required for students to apply to, and be fully considered for, admission to UT Austin
- International applicants must submit either an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score report demonstrating an adequate knowledge of English

The university campus is good with very helpful faculty.
Tips: Students should know that they might get a temporary culture shock but that will not unnecessarily be a bad thing as people here might come off as more blunt or transparent but they are also equally kind and helpful. Talk to your supervisors and interact in classrooms. Campus life is also very educative and you are bound to learn a lot. Public transportation is affordable and accessible throughout the day, Overall, I am satisfied with the course, college and the country.

Mixed opinion but it is a good place.
Tips: While the University of Texas has many strengths, my experience here has been mixed. I took a while to settle here and the orientation was brief and unhelpful at least according to me. Along with this, housing is an issue as the capacity to board students is limited and this causes a lot of issues.
